@eg214 A creationist is someone that believes that the world (or universe, in some cases) was 'created' by a deity (or deities) of some kind. This god(s) also created all live on Earth, and occasionally life on other planets.

LOL. I guess I'd be considered a Creationist because I believe in God and I'm Christian? Despite my foul mouth on here (don't have one in"real life") and my having a child out of wedlock. No matter. I don't really speak out about my faith nor shove it down people's throats or worry about where things came from. I don't really care to be honest.

Not all Christians are creationists. I went to University with a guy that was a Christian that believed that god started the Big Bang, but had played no part in the actual creation of the universe. I have a Christian friends that thinks it was all metaphorical, and believes in all science of the beginnings of the universe and humans and suchlike.

Yeah I think a lot of things are metaphorical about the Bible but I just choose not to like get into it or study it or talk about it or think about it. Maybe that makes me ignorant but I feel comfortable believing what I do and living my life. LOL. I guess it could also be cracked up as I'm not a philosophical eprson.
