Thank you to everyone for your kind words.

I'm really happy the we found my friend and that she is okay. I talked to her brother about keeping him on file in the contact and the need for a plan in the event that something happened to her in the future.

My head and arm are throbbing pretty good and I have to see an ENT specialist about my face because the fracture in my face is displaced. Honestly, getting trampled on has been my biggest fear with horses for the last 11 years, (it happened once to me one other time 11 years ago) and it was actually weirdly mentally healing to have it happen and to survive it again with even fewer injuries. There was one moment when I was underneath him and his hooves just kept hitting me when I felt myself go limp, and I thought "This is it. I'm going to die right now. My girls won't have a mom and that will be that." Then suddenly it stopped - just when I couldn't take another second, it stopped. I know I have a guardian angel looking after me.
