Name regrets

All this talk about naming Jackson's pets got me think'n about my dog's name. Her records show her name was Ozzy, then Dimah, then when we adopted her I named her Nina so that it kind of rhymed with Dimah so it would be easy for her to learn.

BUT NOW I realize I should have named her Pita. Pita the Pitt Bull. Pita Pitt. See what I did there?! I suppose it's too late to change her name again?

Anyone else name their pet one thing then thought of a better, more suitable name?

My cats name is Cleo. I thought it was funny because I call her Cleocatra. However it was my second choice. I warned to name her Kyrie. My roommate at the time didn't like it. My next pet will be Kyrie.

Our damn cat has so many nicknames so we call him whatever we see fit at the moment. Albert T Ross has faded to the wayside. Most of the time it's Mr. Tross or simply Tross
His given name is Albatross since he was found by me 7 weeks old, starving abandoned and almost dead on a course. It was between Albatross and divot. He really is our middle son

One of DH's rabbit beagles is named Double Barrel. It's his AKC name he came with so we didn't pick it but it's really annoying when I'm trying to yell at him to stop barking and I'm trying to yell a four syllable name...

My dog is named Xena. Fits her perfectly. So when we decided to get another dog I wanted to stick with the show references...and name him Ares. DH said no and we finally decided on Lestat. Well...hes should have been Joxer from the Xena series instead.

I do sometimes regret naming my
Chihuahua after Dexter. He is a demon biter so it shouldn't surprise me! But it's so fitting.

No, but I often call other people's pets names based on what I think they look like. And then I have a hard time using their real name because the name I gave it fits so well.

We named our puggle Max (so original, I know) but we should have named him kibbles or wrinkles. We have 400 nicknames for him though (Maxie, Maxie Moo, Muglet, Snuglet, Chicken McSnuglet, Maximus Weinerus etc.) so he answers to a lot of things, lol!

My cats have so many nick names sometimes I forget what their real name is! My.black cats name is lucas but we call him luke, lukey, lucifer, then when he's in trouble Lucas Grabeel like the actor. IDK why? The cat we found painted on to out door doesn't really have an official name so we just call her kika and gata. My kitty that died last November was originally named Meek which turned into rico, tiko, taco, chacho, chacho mustafa. We're fucking weird lol

We have two schnauzer mixes. Their names are Doug (the big one) and Curly (the little one). When we were at puppy manners class, the woman couldn't remember which dog was which, but knew one of them had a 'man's name'.

So she started calling Curly, Jim.

We totally should have named them Doug and Jim. What a pair.

We call them Doug-Doug and Curl-Bot.

Oh some of these names remind me of a dog at a training class named "The Dude." He was sooo chill and had long hair. I want to get a big chill dog and name him that....
