  Nope. I never leaked and it took me three days of pumping and getting NOTHING before the colostrum started

  I think it's possible they get something. Colostrum is soooo thick and often hard to pump and babies are way more efficient than the pump.

  I just got back from my 38 week appt.  Apparently the pains I've been having aren't contractions, and baby is still pretty high.  And my amniotic fluid levels are high - and somehow, baby gained a pound this week - and is estimated at 7lbs 11oz.  So not only is she NEVER coming out, she's going to be huge.  I want to cry.  I'm home and bored and need something to focus on and while I'm so happy for everyone who has their outside babies, I want mine!

  @legallyginger, you are not alone. I've already called and set up counseling with someone who specializes in PPD because I know I'm going to be in your shoes.

  Your baby will be the perfect size for YOU! Dont you worry about that! I'm 41 weeks and couldn't tell you what a contraction feels like. Keep your head up and remember that you're not alone in this crazy waiting game I feel like I've been losing my mind this last week. Just keep venting here because there is always someone that will have some encouraging words

  @Jt7dreamz - my practice does weekly NSTs and BPPs once you hit 37 weeks.  I had that type of pain during the NST and it didn't register as a contraction.  (

  
  

  I did just order a new cross-stitch project though - a quilt.  Hopefully it comes soon, and either a) I have enough time to complete it because she's not moving, or b) I open it and as soon as I start working on it, she decides to come.

  @AnonymousMotherOfOne‌ it sounds like you and YH have got yourselves together and your dad is having a hard time with that. Sorry that you are having to deal with his crap/issues at such a vulnerable time. Don't let his problems affect your knowledge of what a great mom you already are!!

  @LW78 Wow, that is really scary! Does he have a seizure disorder or is this the first time he's had seizures?? What a crazy thing to have happen! Do you guys have any other options for birth control since the vasectomy was a fail?

  I think I would've been better off without the info. Now it's just stressing me out that I have a big baby (over 9 lb at 39 wks) that is also measuring with a large head! I can't make up my mind about a c-section. I'd rather be blissfully ignorant at this point...(or maybe the grass is always greener on the other side...)

  How awful! @LW78‌ I'm surprised they let him drive home. Hope the pain goes away soon! I had my tubes tied before IVF and the recovery wasn't terrible. I had the procedure done on a Friday and I was back at work the following Monday.

  You're not alone.  Mine thinks that as long as my fundal height is in the ball park of how many weeks I am, there's no point.
