I cannot wait to start exercising again, the nice weather has me itching for a run; so ready to have sex, not just good sex--ANY sex--pelvic rest is for the birds; and ready to not feel like a whale in everything I wear. And I would absolutely love an ice cold beer.
Wine (especially prosecco and sauvignon blanc) and craft beer including brewery tours and beerfests! I didn't realize how much of our social life revolved around craft beer until I couldn't drink it any more (
And I second steaks and burgers that are pink in the middle! And I don't miss it yet, but with spring/summer coming I'm going to miss goat cheese in salads. Though I'm definitely going to investigate if I can find one with pasteurized milk...
Oh and I can't wait to have people look me in the eye instead of the bump when they talk to me :-/
I've been thinking this about many of these, haha. I know it's all about what you are comfortable with but I'm definitely not passing on feta, sushi, or rare steaks (or medium burgers). Definitely still eating deli meat. I even had some sips of wine at our wine trail weekend a few weeks ago. I just want to be able to have a giant glass in the evening again.
A really good margarita, Gancia, and a bottle of wine. Not a glass, like I now have occasionally. A whole bottle!!
BFP #1 ended in MMC. Discovered Oct 2005 @10w5d, baby stopped growing around 6w. D&C. BFP#2 Nov 2005. Baby's heart stopped @ 8w3d. D&C Jan 2006. Trisomy 18 BFP#3 Nov 2006. My "miracle baby" DD born 7/25/07 BFP #4 11/6/12. EDD 7/16/13~my birthday! No sac found @ 5w1d, betas not increasing. Natural m/c started 11/20/12.
BFP#5 11/9/13. EDD 7/21/14 Our beautiful rainbow born on his due date!!
Wine, sushi, margaritas, sex that is actually enjoyable, the ability to easily get out of bed.
BFP#2 7/3/13. U/S at 6w4d showed 1 heartbeat at 127 bmp and 2 empty sacs. MMC discovered at 10w4d. D&C 8/27/13. Pathology showed normal boy. Missing our babies every day. BFP#3 10/29/13! Beta#1 at 4w5d - 2141, beta#2 at 5w1d - 7651! U/S 11/21/13 showed baby measuring 2 days ahead with a heartbeat of 127 bmp!
WINE, drinking outside, Advil, tuna-fish sandwiches, and guilt-free subs.
And caipirinhas. Oohhh how I miss a good caipirinha!!! The kind where you take one sip and go, "Well, I won't be driving home." :-) (If you've never heard of them it's a drink with a Brazilian liquor called cachaca, sugar, and lime. Like a mojito but better!).
Red Bull in the mornings before work. It's a cruel joke that during the most fatigued time of my entire life I'm not drinking Red Bull. I'd better have one in the delivery room from DH with a giant red bow on it.
A giant frozen alcoholic beverage (preferably with an umbrella in it), wine, Advil liquid gels, my anxiety meds (you don't realize how much something mild takes the edge off until you can't have it!), sleeping on my stomach, my favorite diet soda, and an amazing turkey sandwich from the grossest, most delicious deli in my town!!!
I'd also like to add advil and the freedom to take a xanax when I feel like I need it. I rarely take them (like maybe three times per year) but with all this house stuff going on my anxiety has been off the charts.
The ability to lay down on my stomach, all the wine, and most importantly, an Italian hoagie. I told my best friend she is responsible for bringing me a large Italian sub when she visits me in the hospital.
Alcohol (tequila shots mmm), sushi,2-3 espressos daily, Starbucks biggest MF one they have.Aspirin, drunkn sex, working out like a mad woman, low carb diets, oh the list goes on.
I'm not a big drinker, but I'd like to have my caffeine back. I think it's been 5 weeks since the OB said "no more". I MISS YOU, COFFEE! Decaf is okay, but obviously doesn't give me the energy.
*SIGGY* Baby G born 6/6/14, 37 weeks 1 day due to preeclampsia. 5lb12oz 19" #2 due Christmas 2016.
@jamboree jess - DH just had the balls to tell me that there is a Jimmy john's right across the street from his office, and that's where he goes when I don't make him lunch...that rat bastard is going to get home made lunch until he can bring me home a sub in late July!!!!
Wine, Sake, Beer, Raw Oysters, Sushi/Sashimi (I still eat sushi now but not with raw fish), pooping like a human, ibuprophen and a cute baby to squish!
Not looking foward to having to wear a bra or tank during sex so I don't leak on DH. Also not looking forward to zombie mommy, recovery and my hair falling out again.
ETA: I forgot face down massages and not having skin like a teenage boy.
Oh I can't wait to "booze cruise" with DH! After dinner in the summer we load DS up in the stroller and walk the neighborhood with some sort of alcohol. Parents of the year.
OMG we do this too!! **high five** except ours are a little older now so we have to be sneaky about our "water" so our children don't announce to everyone we pass that mommy and daddy have Booz

What?! Obvious FTM moment here, but the things I'm picturing with the words "...having to wear a bra or tank during sex so I don't leak on DH" are entertaining, but not all at the same time. My DH is going to hate that...he's definitely a boob man but I don't think he'd enjoy being "leaked on".
Yeah it makes for a fun time! lol My DH is a huge boob man too. Pretty much the only reason why he doesn't want me to BF. Too bad buckoo.
THIS!!!! I have 3 bottles of Stella Rosa and Stella Rosa Black just waiiitttiiinnnggg to be uncorked. 1 glass isn't enough haha I need the whole bottle. Do I sound like a wino? I'm not I swear. I don't even like most wines, but stella is yummy to my unrefined wine palate.
There's not really much that I am missing, other than maybe a few meds. I haven't been really sick so far (knock on wood!), so I haven't been missing that all that much either.
I would like to sleep through the night, but I don't see that happening after birth.
Definitely multiple glasses of wine, drank at a normal speed (NOT sipped over the course of hours like I do now if I have a small glass of wine), along with a big cheese board with all sorts of unpasteurized cheeses and things that aren't good for me.
Sleeping on my stomach
Having a waist and somewhere to put my hands. I always thought pregnant girls were putting their hands on their back for show or to emphasize that they were pregnant. Nope, now I get it. No waist!
Alcohol. I so miss having a huge glass of wine (or two) after a bad day at work. I've already instructed DH to have a six pack of Angry Orchard in the fridge when we get home from the hospital. Not so I can get wasted but just so I can have one whenever I feel like it.
I also miss feeling normal. I'm always so tired and useless anymore. FTM here....please tell me this gets better eventually. Or will I be tired for the rest of my life?
Re: After the baby comes I can't wait to have ____ again!

I still eat feta- as long as its pasteurized (which most stuff sold in the grocery store is) it is safe.
Mommy to R (8.23.11) and K (6.21.14).
