10 things...

That drive you crazy (not in a good way).  Let's hear 'em!

Mine:

1.  Our computers at work.  I swear I can walk there faster to get the info I need and I don't even know where there is.  SO SLOOOOOOW!!!!!

2. People who are always late.  Have some respect.

3.  People in public places who stop (usually with their cart) to chat with someone they know (usually also with a cart) right in front of the door or the middle of the aisle.  You deserve to be run over.

4.  People, in general.

5.  The cat in the middle of the night when he has a whole bed to sleep on but INSISTS on sleeping on/between my knees.  I love you cat but GTFO me!

6.  Poor spelling/grammar.

7.  Those who make excuses about everything.  I'm sorry you hate your life, living in a state that is cold half the year, your parents, whatever.  Stop whining and do something about it.

8.  Liars and thieves

9.  BD (This goes both ways, though.  When he's not drinking/upset about something he's mostly fine)

10.  Drivers who clearly have the right away but sit there waiting for you to go.  Let's also throw in drivers who sit at the stop sign waiting for that car coming that's still a mile down the road.   And old slow people!  lol  We're not all retired there gramps.  Let's goooo!

    1. People who no call no show when they book appointments. Bitch i have to stand here waiting for you for half an hour to call you a no show. I had other things i could have been doing, clients i could have been taking. FUCK YOU for wasting my time

    2. People who activley dont spend time with their kids then get mad when that kid is naughty, or refuses to call that kid mom/dad

    3. People who are constantly pessimitic, life isnt that bad bro!

    4. People who think its their partners job to support them. And im not talking about stay at home spouses/parents. If you want that and you can afford that its none of my buisness, but good for you. Im talking about the people who mooch and expect presents all day every day. No.

    5. People who think im dumb because i do hair. Yeah, im dumb thats why i got accepted to several colleges and was on early admission for julliard. But i was a dumb ass at 18 turned down julliard for a boy and frankly shouldnt have spent the seven months i did at my liberal arts college. But sure, im dumb, thats why i do hair.

    6. Girls on facebook who are barely legal and are posting pictures of themselves in underwear or lingerei. Oh honey, instagram isnt a modeling agency, and niether victorias secret nor suicide girls, nor play boy, etc is trolling facebook/instigram for models. Cover up and respect yourself.

    7. When people tell me bentley is 'to thin' and i need to feed him more solids/formula. There isnt much more i could feed him in a day, this is his genetics. Stop acting like i starve my child.

    8. When people home school their children so they can control their children. My xh was dumb as a brick because his parents home schooled him and with held A LOT of education so they could better control and manipulate him.

    9. When people post crab on facebook about if you love jesus/your mom/dog/penguins you will do a,b,c and x,y,z will happen

    10. When people makes jokes about eating disorders to me and think their funny. Yeah cause you bing eating on bagels after trying to be annorexic for four hours is funy. hahaha FUCK YOU! Stop feeding into this misinformation that all people who are anorexic just need to eat something and people who are bulimic just need to stop making themselves throw up. Your an ignorant ass hat and you being insensitive about a disease i fought for ten years isnt cute or funny.

  • @beccaga16 I'm with you on the trophy thing.  And omg i hate my baby hairs.  Makes a pony tail hard to do.  I have a ton underneath in the back.  With you and MM on pretty much all that other stuff, too.  As far the spelling/grammar...it's more of a peeve when people can't type out a sentence and instead text type or whatever it's called.  It makes me feel like this purple minion here...

    HAhaha, autocorrect. Same here.

    1) Autocorrect because I want to say "What the hell?" not "What the he'll?".  Or on days when it changes a word that wasn't misspelled. I mean, one time, when I wrote "dad" it was autocorrected to "sad". WHY?!

    2) BD & family. BD because he's a douchebag. His brother because he likes to go out of his way to tell me about his sex life (which I have no desire to know, let alone talk about).  His mother because you all should know this by now. Not his dad, though. I like his dad.

    3) I also have a problem with spelling/grammar, but more than that, I hate people who don't speak correctly.  I have a co-worker that says "expecially" not "especially".  And another co-worker that says "norf" not "north". Drives me insane.

    4) I have a co-worker that I'm pretty good friends with, like he's the first person at the office I told that I was pregnant. On New Years, he sent me a text saying "Happy New Years! <3". For the last couple of weeks he's been putting his hands on my shoulders or playfully kicking my feet.  I'm not one that reads body language real well, like, I don't understand flirting, but I think he's flirting with me.  And I asked someone about it and they told me that they thought he was gay.  I hate being touched by people that I'm not close to (i.e. family, childhood friends, my BF) and this guy knows this.  He's also married and I'm afraid of his wife thinking something is going on when nothing is going on.

    5) People. I fucking hate people. I sit at home most nights with my daughter when I should be out doing things to make sure she's socialized and doesn't become a homebody like me, but then I think "daycare is good for socializing, I really don't feel like being subjected to other people's stupidity today..."

    6) Pants. No explanation needed.

    7) People who tell me "you will love it" about a TV show or a movie.  Or other people. Because mostly I end up hating all of it.  I had a friend tell me to watch How I Met Your Mother and that I would love it.  I watched EVERY EPISODE that Netflix had to offer and I didn't laugh once.  That show is not funny.  I know some people here like it, but I just can't stand it.  It made me think less of the friend that told me I would love it.  I had another friend tell me that I would get along really well with this girl that they were friends with.  I absolutely, without a doubt, had no want to have anything to do with her that didn't involve kicking her ass because she was the most annoying person I have ever met.  I hate her. It made me think less of the friend who told me I would like her.  So when people tell me to check something/someone out because I would love it/them, I go out of my way to avoid it/them.

I can't think of anything else right now. That and I have to get back to work anyway, LOL.

  • 1 - People who know why ex-H and I are divorcing and side with him over me.

2 - My sister's dog. That's more of a love/hate thing. She's a sweet dog but annoying as shit because she hasn't had any obedience training.

3 - The smell smokers have on them when they come back in from outside. (I may be slightly hypocritical because I was a smoker for almost a decade...I quit 9 years ago.)

    4 - Cockroaches.

5 - People who get involved in MLMs and then try to sell me ALL TEH THINGZ.

6 - Girls who play up being a "nerd" just for the sake of being "trendy". I was a nerd chick way before it was "cool" and bitches like you used to beat me up after class.

7 - Reading the comments section of any article online. It makes me lose all faith in humanity.

8 - People who talk on their cell phones while sitting on the toilet in a public bathroom. If I hear you, I will flush ten times just to make sure the person on the other end knows you're crapping in a public place while you talk to them.

9 - Shoe shopping. I have odd sized feet and finding shoes is damn near impossible.

10 - Anybody who ever says anything negative about my parenting. When they start to criticize me I want to say, "Please, trade spots with me for a month or so and then we'll talk."

@roxalot THIS. SO MUCH THIS. I am always amazed at how much of a social butterfly my DD is because I would rather claw my eyes out than go out and socialize.

  • i need to do a better job socializing bentley... he likes me, one of my sisters, one of my bils, two of my nephews, and my mom. he'll warm up to bf and c after a few hours. but i really need to work on getting him comfortable with other kids. but then im like, i'll just send him to preschool early, it'll be fiiiiine.

  • Omg some of these are so funny! As far grammar .... i hate when people say stuff like "I been meaning to blah blah blah... " and " They was $100 at the store blah blah blah..." DDs brother's mom talks like that. She's in an inter-racial relationship, which is fine, but i hate it when white chicks start sounding like the guy they're dating.

  • 1. My biological grandparents. You did not want to see me for 15 years, because you didn't believe that the paternity test you made my mother have done on me told the truth when it said I was bio dad's child, so no, I do not want to come and see you, even though you only live "5 minutes" (more like 2 hours) away. Especially when, when I do come to see you, you tell me off for calling my dad Dad. He is my dad, he adopted me when I was four!

    2. People who ask you your opinion and expect you to say 'please' or 'thank you' afterwards. You asked me if I liked tea, not if I wanted any.

    3. People who (no offense, but it's generally North Americans) tell me off for spelling things wrong. Excuse me, that U is SUPPOSED to be there, it's your ancestors that simplified it.

    4. 'Text Speak' just in general. It takes two milliseconds longer to type you than u.

    5. The fact that I my work is given £1b a year for facilities upgrades and yet the internet is still shit.

    6. People who criticise my mother. You're not the one who had what was essentially a forced marriage, are you?

    7. Having to wait to take a pregnancy test. And just generally waiting in general.

    8. People pushing their religion down your throat.

    9. When people make assumptions about you, based on one thing you've said, which has absolutely nothing to do with what they are assuming.

    10. The racism that exists between the different countries between of the UK. We are almost exactly the fucking same.

  • @mrs.tbc Oh yeah, it happens all the time. I lived in England from I was born until I was four, moved to Scotland and was bullied by other four year olds for having being English. Over the years, it changed to a Scottish accent, and when I moved back to England aged 23, I was verbally abused all the time for having being Scottish. Now my accent is a weird mix between the two, and I get verbal abuse in Scotland for being English and verbal abuse for being Scottish in England. I also have a Welsh friend in Scotland that lived in a pretty rough area, and somebody set fire to her flat because she is Welsh. My Irish friend was battered in broad daylight in a busy street in Newcastle (England) for being Irish.

    It's horrendous.

I get why text sprak actually used to exist before we al had full keyboards on our phones. But now text speak makes me ragey.

And @alliealba i have a little bit of an internet crush on you because your from the uk i love european history and art.

To be honest, i dont think racism has gotten any better here. People are racist against white people. White people are racist towards a lot of people. While married to my xh i hear a lot of fucked up shit towards hispanics directed at my mil and sils. Most disgustingly a lot of it came from my ex and his dad.

I dont know if there is a lot of racism towards black americans anymore, but there is a lot towards hispanics and muslims. In my area there is a lot towards mungs and samolians

Hahaha @tig594 and @minnesotamomma91 I'm actually planning a vacation to London! Not for another 18 months or so because I need to save up the money so that might just work -- Aria and Bentley will be a little older the and Angelica will be 8 years old so she'll (hopefully) be more helpful! You girls can come too! (And maybe we can meet @AllieAlba and her little one!)

My name doesn't tag because of the period in it. I should get TB to fix that...

  • Holy shit, @AllieAlba. I was verbally abused and harrassed/bullied in high school for being white (which was a super minority my freshman year), and I knew some other white girls who were sexually assaulted. It was generally assumed that white girls were easy, and thus fair game for all.

I don't talk about it alot because a lot of Americans refused to believe it's possible to be racist against caucasians... *sigh*

Isnt that interesting? That it seems to be a general consensus that you cant be racist against white people, but in fact you can be.

Im sorry you went through that and my heart breaks for those other girls who were assulted

Let me preface this with the fact that I teach High school

    1. Lateness
    2. Blatant disrespect
    3. Creationists
    4. People who try to shove their views down your throat
    5. Liars
    6. Close-mindedness
    7. 16yo kids who think they know everything.
    8. People who mistreat animals
    9. People fishing for attention on FB
    10. Why are airline tickets so expensive?? I can only afford to see my family once a year. Sucks.

1-10 could all be solved by following one simple rule I would (but can't) put in my classroom....... "Don't be a fukker."

I don't think practically anyone anywhere believes that its possible to be racist against caucasians, to be perfectly honest. I remember a few years ago, a little white boy was murdered by a group of asian kids his age, after that had been verbally abusing him and telling him that 'white people don't deserve to live'. Yet the police passed it off as having no evidence to point to it being a racist hate crime.

In america we get a shitty rap because of slavery, segragation, native american reservations, and our other vast indescretions against other race days.

I always thought it was interesting in highschool when they had pride week we had black pride, hispanic bride, native american pride, gay pride, etc but god forbid you could be proud to be white during pride week.
