10dp3dt here.....I thought I might POAS this Wednesday, but will probably just wait until beta, which is on Friday. I was really hoping I would have some symptoms, but sadly I don't and it's discouraging (I know some people don't have any).

QOTD: Not really sure. I don't mind my job, but I would probably want to do something more part time. Would definitely buy a new house and travel somewhere fun.

I am PUPO! I had a 3 day transfer of 2 "perfect" from what the dr called them embryos on Saturday. I have been taking it easy since then. I'm going back to work tomorrow. Still feeling really tired today. I guess I need to update my soggy

I'm on day 4 of stims, and have my first monitoring appointment tomorrow. I thought I might get to avoid the bloating that everyone talks about until this morning - definitely feeling it... but not sure if it it's from the meds or that large amount of corned beef and cabbage I ate yesterday.

QOTD: I would probably quit my job and do some type of volunteer work with animals. I love my house, so I would probably just do some renovations and buy a second house on the beach.

Hello all - I had my ER on Friday 3.14, They retrieve 14 eggs, 9 were mature and 5 fertilized. I got the call yesterday that all 5 were doing well and they were pushing me to a 5 day transfer. I go in on Wednesday. I am still incredibly sore and feel bad that I am basically taking this whole week off but I want a happy uterus for these little ones to be put back into. We are going to ET 2 back in and freeze the rest.

@PrayingforMiracle17 Everything crossed for you. No symptoms really really doesn't mean anything, so don't give up hope yet. This must be so agonizing, I am really really pulling for you.

As for me, I am PUPO. My transfer was Saturday - we transferred one instead of two because we had four total blasts and the doctor really thought we had a good chance using one now and freezing the rest. I am going back and forth, but in the end, we really don't want twins, so I'm ok with this decision. If this doesn't work, we may transfer two next time.

I also got ridiculously ill on Saturday night (digestive-ly) and I'm so scared that it messed up our chances. The doctor assures me this is not the case, but you know - if there's something to worry about, WHY NOT WORRY?

ETA QOTW: If I won the lottery, I would start the adoption process. Tomorrow. I want nothing more to adopt a baby but we simply can not afford it right now.

@sandollar1010 I'm sorry you are bloating. this is a finite period in time - that's what I keep reminding myself. Keep drinking lots of fluids and eat healthy foods. I wish I did this a little more.

@ejrobbi Congrats on your ER and great report! Don't feel bad taking the week off. I took two days off for ER and went back entirely too soon. I honestly still do not feel like myself (a whole week later). Keep up on your fluids and GL on your transfer!

I had my 3-day transfer of two embryos yesterday, so I'm now in the 2 WW. Poor husband asked this morning if it was too early for a HPT. Yeah, just a little. I told him about testing out the trigger but he didn't think that was a good idea. We are waiting to see if our last embryo makes it to freeze, but it sounded like it had some problems, so not very likely. QOTD: We would buy a new house and new cars!

UPDATE: I'm still chugging along on the estradiol. I have a lining check tomorrow and hopefully we are all set to schedule the transfer over the weekend/early next week.

QOTW: I actually like my job so I don't think I'd quit but it would be nice to not "have" to work. I would probably travel the world.

Happy Paddy's day!!!!!!

After a low beta (21-thanks everyone for the support!!!) we had tripling numbers in 48 hour period so officially a BFP! Can't believe it really, I'm pushing 37 & we did a SET and no symptoms what so ever. Crazy crazy!

Good luck to everyone where ever you are in your cycle, hang in there!

QOTD: I'd buy a prius wagon, new house and hire a travel agent to organize my on going & extensive vacationing around the world needs :-)

@praying4miracle17 I'm right behind you..My beta is the following Monday, and I'm tempted to test this Wed (1 wk after my 5dt), but kinda scared so I might just wait too.

I'm 5dp5dt and anxiously waiting to test..Feeling mild cramps here and there, like minor shocks and tightness in my uterus but it prob the PIO. Other than that, my butt cheeks are sore and I'm eating like a pig! lol I've really enjoyed being off work for 1 week. Going back tomorrow - not really looking forward to that.

QOTD: I'd pay off mortgages, all loans, quit my job, take care our family (buy them a new house car etc), then travel the world for months!

Good morning fellow Shammies

I'm glad to see the BFPs and the transfers that are lined up. Hugs to anyone who needs one.

AFM: I am just chugging along with my delestrogen and PIO. I'm concerned that my progesterone levels aren't high enough again because my breasts aren't even remotely tender; the always are during my natural cycle, so I'm concerned that my FET on Wednesday won't work again.

But regardless my FET will be on Wednesday and we will transfer 2 more embies..... I can't even say I'm excited because I feel like it won't work again.

QOTD: I would pay off all my student loans, my house, my car, and TRAVEL!

@Deardra77 Congrats on your BFP!

It's been four days since my transfer of one hatching and one hatched blastocyst (AW pic included). I'm not totally sure what that makes me since it was an FET of day 6 embryos (4dp6dt?).

People keep asking me how I feel and all I can say is, "normal." Yes, I'm peeing frequently and have some minor twinges, but I know enough to place the blame squarely on the PIO shots for those "symptoms."

I STUPIDLY POAS (wondfo) yesterday, knowing that it was most likely too soon to tell but on the off chance that I was one of those lucky women who get an early BFP, and of course it was a BFN. So, that got me down. I know it's irrational, but I just don't hold out much hope. All I've ever had are BFNs, it just seems like anything else is impossible. (Pity party much?)

QOTD: I would pay off the debt we've already racked up from being entirely OOP on this IVF stuff. I'd also pay off our house and travel.

Omg!! Its so crazy to see my name listed under BFP! I had my first beta yesterday and it was 88....nurse said she was looking for something over 50. I have my second beta tomorrow....need some doubling vibes!

QOTD- I would pay off my student loans/debt. Buy new cars and look for a new/bigger house in our area. Give to some to family also!

Hello All!!

Im doing my 4th shot of Del Estrogen in priming for my FET tonight. My next monitoring is Friday morning. Im just counting down the days. 3/26 cant get here fast enough. Other than that Im just dealing with every day stuff... Of course we are a few days away from spring, but the evils of winter wont let go. We got another snow storm last night, and that made me feel crappy. I dont do well in cold weather at all. And over the weekend I did some redecorating and painting in the house. I think I have early stages of nesting.

Just got home from our ER!! I don't remember talking to the doctors after the ER. Apparently I was chatty cathy afterwards. My husband told me they retrieved 5 eggs, but he did not know the quality. Looking forward to hearing the fertility report. The doctor said we may not know anything for a few days. We will freeze all of our eggs and try again in a couple months for more eggs Now it is the waiting game.

QOTD - If I won the lottery I would travel. I love my job, but wouldn't mind working part time. I would love to be on the beach right now! Plus I would do as many rounds as IVF as it takes to get us that family!

AFM....

I had my day 5 transfer today and I'm PUPO for the first time! I was a hot mess all morning, scared to death they were going to tell me none of my 3 embies made it to day 5. There was one of the three that did not look like it was going to continue growing. They said they would keep an eye on it at the lab and there was a remote chance they may be able to freeze it but it was highly unlikely.

But we got two good embryos transferred! One they said was just about at blastocyst stage and the other was at blastocyst stage. I was in tears off and on all morning basically because I can't believe I've been able to come this far.

I know it's far, far from any sure thing that one of these will become my take home baby, but thinking back on sitting in my first REs office just over a year ago when he told me that IVF wouldn't get us any advantage... that if we were lucky to have any retrieved that they probably wouldn't make it to transfer... well, when that bracelet went on my wrist and I had to verify everything - I knew it was real and couldn't stop smiling.

Thanks for all the encouragement from so many of you!

QOTW: Yes, I would probably quit my job. Then pay off debt for me and my husband and my father. Invest a lot towards trying to grow my husband's business. Travel a lot!

@cwoodward777‌ Too funny. Hey, at least you weren't like me when I came out swearing after ER. DH told me I said "those motherf......" (Referring to those who had just "taken my eggs"). I really hope the staff didn't hear me. How embarrassing.

@cwoodward777- My husband said I was a chatty cathy after my first ER too. I was moritified but he said I was very polite to the staff. After the 2nd ER, I was snoring apparently quite loudly which is also quite embarassing. Clearly, I remember none of that!

Had a monitoring scan today, which is day 9 of stims. The Dr measuered 20 follicles in the 11-13mm range, one at 16.3. Estradiol came back at over 1800. So... Reducing dose for a second time, but still on track for ER on Friday. So excited and nervous. Still time for things to go wrong... Biggerest worry: That 16.3 could get big enough to trigger an LH surge and ovulation early before other follies are ready and before ER. My Dr does not continue Lupron to suppress ovulation in patients over 35 because she says in her experience, using Lupron with stims results in fewer eggs. Still, kind of wishing we had that extra insurance to prevent early ovulation... Dr not terribly concerned about it, but I cannot help stressing a little. Would really suck to be canceled. *sigh* Just trying to focus on the mostly good report and not worry too much about the "what ifs."

FWIW- I got the stomach flu really bad for 3 days the last week of stims & still wasn't up to par ER day, and had 2 great embies and still got a bfp. T&P are with you!

AFM- beta #4 was today & am waiting on results...

QOTD - I'd pay off our house & my loved ones houses too. I wouldn't quit my job, I love it! I would also travel as much as possible!

Hey Shamrocks! I posted a thread yesterday - I got a clear BFP yesterday on a HPT at 9dp5dt. I want to jump for joy, but I'm extremely nervous & trying not to get my hopes too high. Beta is Weds. Our chemical last cycle has me freaked out... but I'm praying this is our glimmer of hope!

Congratulations to the BFPs last week. This is our month ladies!!!

Things here are slow and steady... Had Blood & U/S yesterday. Only 10 follicles...ranging from 14.5mm to 12mm and 2 being only 9mm. Been stemming for 11 days now...I feel like I'm barely making progress. I haven't had any symptoms or bloating other than headaches. The clinic thinks I'm not bloating, because I don't have very many follies. I'm hoping that best case senario I do the ER Thursday or Friday cause I'm running out of meds...

QOTD: Build a house here in Chicago and in Texas. That way I could see my family half the year.

Hello shamrocks! My ER was yesterday. I had 8 retrieved and 6 were mature. All 6 mature eggs fertilized with icsi and were good as of this morning. I can't believe I have to wait until Friday for an update, I might lose my mind! I'm really hoping for a blast for transfer, I've never made it to a blast before!

QOTD: I would start shopping for a house right away, I can't wait to be done with condo living! I would also put I my notice that I would leave my job at the end of the school year and start the adoption process ASAP to grow our family regardless of how this cycle ends.

Well, all this stimming has left me giant and full of eggs over here. I could probably make breakfast for an army - at least that's what it feels like.

ER scheduled for tomorrow morning. Triggered last night. Without 3 injects a day - I just don't know what to do with myself! For once, my kitchen counter doesn't look like a meth lab tonight.

I'm nervous for tomorrow but, Oh. So. Ready.

Loving all the PUPO and BFPs!!! Gives me hope! Hope that you all had a great day and didn't get pinched (if someone did - I hope you went all hormonal on them).

I am 6dp3dt and I've been analyzing my every twinge. I've had mild uterine cramps since 2dpt but I attribute any feeling to crinone (which I loathe). I am considering testing Wed but my beta is set for Mon. I'm so impatient!

If I won the lottery I'd relive our tropical honeymoon again. I so need some sunshine in my life!

Hi Shamrocks. I'm back from ER and am happy to say we got 26 eggs. Unfortunately I was in a lot of pain and showed early signs of OHSS after the surgery and had to stay at the clinic for a long time afterwards. The 4 hour journey home felt like FOREVER and I am now very happy to be resting up in bed. I am on some sort of medication to try and prevent OHSS so fingers crossed we don't get delayed and can still go ahead with a transfer at the end of the week if we are lucky enough to get some good embryos. While we were hoping for a double embryo transfer my doctor informed me that a single embryo transfer would be best based on my short cervix (only discovered last week at my tracking scan). I'm disappointed but will do whatever gives us the best chance of a take home baby. I'm a but nervous about the phone call tomorrow to see if and how many eggs fertilised...fingers crossed.

QOTD: Pay off the mortgage, go on a big long trip through Europe and buy a new car. Aaahhh that was nice to dream for a second

My transfer was yesterday so I'm PUPO! They transferred two hatching blasts I did what I could to improve egg quality this time around by adding in DHEA and CoQ10 and it seems to have helped because the embryologist said the blasts were great quality. We even had two blasts to freeze this time. Beta is the 26th.

Ugh this is driving me nuts. It's keeping me signed in with an old screen name from eons ago. This is Scsmith2011.

FX for those of us who are still stimming or in the 2ww!!

at my monitoring appt yesterday we got good news- a few more follicles have cropped up! There are 2 that are around the 10-11 size, but a bunch more that are between 6-9, so I am hoping once I start ganirelix (tentatively on Weds) the smaller ones will all grow together and we will have a decent amount to retrieve.

QOTD: If I won the lottery, I would pay off all of our debt, buy a house in Hawaii, and buy 2 round the world plane tickets for DH and I to do some travelling.

Hi, ladies!! I didn't mean to fall off the face of the earth! I had ER yesterday and they got 7 eggs!! I am amazed! They never saw more than 5 follicles and one was way behind. They don't tell you how many were mature until they call with the fert report. So, I fully anticipate that at least a couple were not mature. Still hoping and praying for a great fert report! After the cycle I was having with threatened cancellations and spending even more than expected on medications, I am happy that they had something to work with !!

Transfer will either be Thursday or Saturday. I am pushing for a 3-day transfer because I seem to do better with an earlier transfer with assisted hatching.

QOTD: I would pay off our house and student loans first and then put in notice at my job. My husband and I sometimes talk about what we would do if we won the lottery (which is funny since we rarely play). We both want to find a house to rent or buy and then tear our current house down and rebuild with exactly what we want!
