@mommykristin88, I would have absolutely lost my cool on that woman. WTF?!
My swim team kids competed at states this weekend. That means I basically spent 16 hours a day on the pool deck for the past three days. DD2 is too little for me to be away from her overnight so the whole fam damily travelled along.... which means I didn't get to STTN or anything fun like that.
Today DH scheduled a doctor's appointment for 7am. DD2 slept awful last night and was up at 6:30 today.
When I worked out of the house I always took the Monday after states off. I'm so tired I could cry.
My bitch is nothing compared to what a lot of you other ladies are dealing with, but we have a storm system moving into the area, meaning thunderstorms....and that means a migraine for me....UGH...this explains my insomnia....add on top LO is fussy thanks to two teeth....UGH!
@MommyKristin88 you should tell her that next time she's being driven around she should just lay in the passenger seat wrapped in blankets. She'd how safe she feels.
Tomorrow we have a senator coming to our Quarry Office. It is not the most glamourous place as it is in a rock quarry. Being the only woman in the office, I get the pleasure of helping clean. It is more me being the lower man on the totem pole than me lacking a penis, but sometimes it doesn't feel that way. The worst part is that no matter how much you clean, everything still seems to get covered in a layer of limestone dust in a matter of minutes.
Just reiterating what everyone already said but seriously @MommyKristin88 I'm proud of you for not seriously beating her up. It's probably good that you didn't go over there to pick her up when it was fresh. I'm really trying to put myself in your shoes and I really don't think I would ever be able to get over that.

Thank you. I doubt I will ever get over it. I don't think I will ever trust her again.
I am so sick of my students and their flippant "I don't give a shit" attitudes. Guess what. We don't learn by osmosis. We learn by actually working/studying. I'm also sick of parents who don't care about their kids' grades/futures. I have students who are missing over half of their assignments and are failing almost every class. How is this even possible? If my kids ever get that bad, they wouldn't be doing anything but studying when they get home every night until it got fixed.
What grade do you teach? Before LO I taught grades 1-2.
Worst are the parents who think their child is a genius when in reality they are quite average academically and have attitude.
Freakin A. It's St. Paddy's day!! WHY are all my friends (IRL) super lame?! I've texted everyone of them to see if they wanted to go out to dinner and maybe have a beverage while we eat. Not a single one wants to go. LAME ASSES!
@dani_brewer thinking of you today.. So sorry you're going through this.
@MommyKristin88 I told DH about this and he said "that sounds like something my mom would do".. Where I replied with a death stare like no other. I seriously thought my MIL was the craziest, but clearly she hasn't scratched the surface. Kudos to you for not droppin bows.
She's done some pretty ridiculous things, but her actions Friday night took the cake. My SO forgot to give her the carseat while she had LO, but instead of calling and asking for it, she just drove LO around without it. In the front seat. Wrapped in blankets (because as she says, "he was safe with the blankets around him"). Bitch is crazy. She better not come anywhere near me anytime soon, because it will take an act of God to keep me from beating the shit out of her.
This sounds like something my mil would do. Which is why she only sees S supervised now. I'm so sorry you had to go through the stress of that. Hugs girl.
@NikkiD522 and @Texasmomma13 I don't know whether to feel better knowing my MIL isn't the only crazy one, or feel bad while fearing for our babies' safety. I'll just do both lol
