  • The fact that I'm at work and not in my bed asleep.

The fact that I'm still so early and anxious about the whole thing. I wish I could just fast-forward to second tri.

  • Figuring out the logistics of this wedding I'm in this weekend.  I have to be there at 1130 to get ready (an hour + from where we're staying with DH's parents) and the wedding doesn't start until 7:30.  And we have one car.  I don't want DH to have to drive me up there in the morning and then turn around and drive back up a few hours later.  It's annoying me a little too much.

I slept like shit and feeling very pukey today.

My gross cube-neighbor's grossness is even more gross now that I'm pregnant, irritable, and sounds/smells are disgusting me.

    I feel pukey and exhausted.

  • My son woke up at 2 and wouldn't go back to sleep til 3:30. Alarm goes off at 3:45.

Got into a fight with my crazy mom yesterday. She had surgery a few months ago and needs help around the house, I agreed to help her three days a week. She refuses to accept these boundaries (and the fact that I have a child who needs to nap at the same time every day) and is sending me mean txts. Grow up! You are 60 years old!

Still waiting to hear of my husbands transfer. Hope today is the day. I either need to start packing or start scheduling drs appts. The suspense is killing me!

    I have a yeast infection.

    That is all for now.

  • I forgot how bad my pregnancy anxiety is. I was up from 4:00 til 6:00 this morning freaking out about tornados. To be fair, I live in Oklahoma half a mile from the May 20th path where nothing is left, but still. I'm tired!

Also, I am pretty annoyed that my post asking for information got bumped to the second page by all the intro and symptom posts.

    2) I have talked for years about how I will return to work after baby and I don't want to be a SAHM but that's all bullshit and I am terrified of talking to my husband about how I do not want to go back to work.  It's a fight I'll lose, but still.  I'm already upset about it.

Every time I see on the news that there have been tornadoes in the states in areas where they are "common" DH and I are bewildered that people still live there. It seems like such unnecessary stress and danger.

I'm also terrified in general about having a 2 1/2 year old and a newborn.

  • I need to bitch about the fact that NONE OF MY CLOTHES FIT.  I am bloated to hell & feel "fat".  Blah.  I'm not ACTUALLY complaining :), but seriously - what am I supposed to wear to work all week?  Yoga pants & a track jacket?

Ditto this.  I have one pair of jeans and one pair of work pants that fit.  *sigh*  I think I'm going to have to go shopping soon.  Definitely not ready for maternity wear yet, but I need to be more comfortable!!

I'm with you ladies on not sleeping. We didn't plan this baby (but it is still VERY loved and wanted). Our house won't fit two children. So we have to sell. Which sucks because it's a fixer upper that isn't quite fixed all the way up yet. We just bought a new car (with cash) so we don't exactly have the funds to finish the house. Sigh. It's a good thing the new baby will be in our room for 6 months.

I keep thinking about the house and everything that has to be done and I can't sleep. On Saturday night, I didn't sleep at all. My 8 month old STTN so it isn't her. I am just so stressed out!

ETA - for the ladies whose pants aren't fitting, the bellaband works great! Also, last time I used elastic bands to extend my pants. It works great when your pants normally fit but you're bloated. I'm kind of superstitious so I don't buy anything until after the first trimester.
  • Mine is that my hormones are INSANE, I have a bartholin abscess (which is the worst pain I've ever felt), I'm so tired and when I asked to leave work to go to the ER, my boss guilt tripped me because she had a cough and wanted to leave first and we both couldn't go...so guess who got to go?! Not me.

I just want like....a year to relax and be alone. I'm so emotional I feel like I may lose my mind or injure someone lol

(Sorry, I can't get the edit thing to work...but I'd totally rather have a 2 1/2 yr old than a 3 1/2 yr old! My kiddo turns 3 in two days, and for the last month, she has been sheer demon. I dread what happens when we add a baby to the mix!

  • I'm only 5 weeks along and my right Fallopian tube is not sitting on the right, it's now it the middle for some reason. Oh and I had a cyst rupture in it causing fluid to build up and cramps galore. So not only was I bloated because of being prego, but my now center Fallopian tube is full of fluid.

I can't fit into my business clothes for work. :( it's too early to be this fat feeling.

BLESS YOUR HEART - I had a bartholin cyst about 3 years ago that turned into an abscess they had to drain.  Horrible.  Sending you virtual hugs....

  • I feel like there are many things I can bitch about!! I am normally a very easy going person but it must be these hormones that have gotten me all cranky!

Ever since I got my BFP I have not had a decent nights sleep and it's getting worse! And to top if off, my morning sickness kicked in and when my alarm goes off at 5:30 (I was awake long before that this morning) I feel so awful!! I had to get my prescription filled to help with the nausea and apparently it makes you a bit sleepy so I am praying for a decent sleep tonight!

As a side note, I do look on the bright side and I know some women feel much worse than I do and are throwing up all the time, so I will try not to complain. It's just an adjustment I suppose! Plus, I had a mc back in October so as awful as I feel, it's nice to feel something pregnancy related! :)
  • My manager/co-worker had absolutely not symptoms when she got pregnant at 16 30 years ago. Lucky B****! Whereas I had to take off 3 days this past week due to HG-like symptoms. Dr. gave me diclegis (thank you!!!), but I don't seem to be getting any bit of sympathy from her. Only to expect things to get worse. Thanks for the support...Oh and if you ask me to do ONE more thing that you are just as capable of doing as I am when you can tell I'm about to fall over from exhaustion from my medicine, I just might strangle you.

And to my MIL who just found out we're expecting (who I seriously couldn't ask for a better MIL): don't tell me to dig in and fight through my MS. I'd like to see you puke up every ounce of liquid you can barely manage to hold down for a couple hours at a time for 2 days straight and see how you feel! I bet you didn't have anywhere NEAR the nausea I'm having, so I really don't want to hear the "toughen up" lecture.

Whoever said that pregnancy is a beautiful, amazing thing obviously was either a man or was a woman who never had children. I'm barely halfway through the first tri and nothing has been beautiful. On my second yeast infection, apparently I'm now allergic to possibly something in ranch dressing (never have been before) and now have an epi-pen, I'm bloated beyond my wildest imagination, I'm constipated, I'm woozy when my medicine is working and nauseous when it's wearing off, I can't sleep on my stomach because of my bloat and when I sleep on my side my neck hurts, and my DH is complaining because I haven't shaved in a week. Seriously! When does the "beautiful" side come in to play! I'll gladly fast forward!!!

Man it feels good to rant!!!! ~X(

Do people think it's ok to tell an emotionally unstable person, "HA! It's only gonna get worse!"

I get it all the time! Unacceptable! I think it is what you make it and you adjust how you feel you need to and for someone to tell you how horrific the rest of your pregnancy and life is going to be is so rude. I'm with ya on this.

  • Oh @zizzabell523 I am so sorry! That sounds horrible.

My rant is going to seem like nothing. LOL But I still want to rant. My hubby wants to cuddle all the time now and has been so lovey the last few days. It's nice dont get me wrong but I HATE being touched when I sleep. So I haven't been sleeping well the last couple of nights. I had a yeast infection and have been having SUPER bad hemorrhoids. Every time I poop I freak out because it hurts. Starting a stool softner today. Probably TMI. Sorry. Oh and my boobs are sensitive to the touch. Like even my bra hurts them.

Hope everyone has a fabulous week!

  • I have to work from home today because DD's daycare is closed.  What daycare closes for St. Patrick's day?!  Working from home basically means answering emails if they come in.  Oh, and my daughter has decided she doesn't want to nap.

We've watched a lot of TV today...

  • Some of these posts have totally bummed me out...

Pregnancy and birth is a beautiful thing! And it's awesome we're all going through it together, like generations of women have before us.

Yes, morning sickness sucks and sleeping, when you get some, sucks, but how lucky to be pregnant! There are millions of women who can't get pregnant or carry a pregnancy that would kill to experience a flush of morning sickness. There are places where women have to bear the struggle of pregnancy silently because it is a taboo. Aren't we so blessed to be able to bitch about everything vomit-inducing?

Slow down and enjoy this time. You'll look back, even on morning sickness, fondly when it's all over.

  • My first one: I vomited for the first time in YEARS. Damn you m/s. Damn you!

Second one: My boss left a pile a foot high of bills that are now past due and oh no nicely dropped them on my desk to beg vendors to not cut our services off. Thanks!

This is kind if rude. Especially since we are all still at such a high risk for miscarriages. How many have we already seen? To many. We all feel blessed but when that 'flush' of MS turns into HG and you have to go to the hospital for fluids, I'm not going to think, 'oh, I'm so blessed'. That's ridiculous.

Oh! And when I almost died during my last pregnancy TWICE I wasn't thinking of anyone but myself and my baby. I almost gave my life (twice) to have her, so don't talk to me about being 'blessed'.

And to those ladies who aren't getting sympathy. Those people are seriously jerks. I had just about the worst pregnancy you could think of last time and the first trimester SUCKS the most. I LOVED the third trimester. You feel the baby moving and it's magical. Are you huge? Yes! But I know I loved every second.
  • We have a lot of teachers sick at school, but instead of hiring subs for each teacher, the admins are getting other teachers to teach their classes and fill their duties and only bring in subs to fill in the gaps. I have spent 4 days outside in the rain/sleet/snow in the last two weeks to fill in for missing teachers, and I'm not comfortable asking to stay inside because I don't want to tip anyone off that I'm pregnant. Blegh.
