@TJ1979‌ when I was pregnant id put those cup inserts in my shirt to hide my nipples, but not actually a bra.

And afterwards. I didn't give a f*ck. guess what?? I've got nursing nipples... Know why??? I'm nursing my baby. Yep. Glad we cleared that up.
Oh and I wear lots of layers / sweaters. So I like to pretend it less obvious.

I still rarely wear a bra.

I guess y'all aren't all saggy like my SIL. I could care less about nursing nipples, but I don't like to see her beaver tails flapping in the wind.

@mapleme I was a 32d prepregnancy... So I'm not flat chested. I got small sleeping bras while pregnant and those bad boys never fit. Never. And bras were just suffocating. My rib cage expanded so much during pregnancy and ds loved to kick my ribs. It was soo uncomfortable. A bra couldn't be tolerated with all that going on.

Alright. I tried on a real bra. It's a pretty one I got right before I got pregnant. It fits. My nursing boobs fill it out more than enough. It's not nearly as bad as it was pregnant!

But I'll have to take it off to pump / nurse. If i didn't I could maybe wear one again.

OH! And now I feel fat, damn bra accentuates my nice layer of fat.

Eta: I'm going to go eat some more cookies now.

My ribs got huge when I was pregnant, too! I had to buy all soft bras. No one tells you about the ribs. They all complain about their hips.

I actually went out bra shopping not too long ago for some cheap ones since I didn't want to invest a bunch and then get pregnant and never be able to use them. I didn't even get the right size because the cups are cutting into the top of my boobs slightly, but I look at my boobs and they don't seem like they are even big enough to be d cups. I think I'm in denial.

What sucks about getting cheap bras is the total lack of size selection.

I hate going braless. It makes me feel defenseless. I even sleep in a regular underwire bra pretty often b/c being uncovered makes me have bad dreams. My sad confession for the day is that I'm too large-chested for cutesy bras now. I outgrew VS's size selection when I got pregnant with DS1. When I went in to VS this morning to redeem my free body spray coupon, the saleslady said, "You know this came with a $10 bra coupon, right?" Yes, dear, but in case you haven't noticed, there's a whole lot of something going on under my shirt right now and I won't be fitting into your sizes any time soon.

Oh, I have another confession... I had lunch today with an old friend. She was my first aide when I started teaching, and she was like a second mother to me back then. I hadn't seen her in about 5 years, but we reconnected on FB not long ago. Anyway, while we eating, she took out her checkbook and wrote me a rather large check as a gift for the boys since she didn't get me anything when DS1 was born and DS2 "should get to have more than hand-me-downs." I'm still kind of in shock, and I'm not really sure what to do with the check. I tried not to take it, but she insisted. I just feel bad cashing it b/c she's got 3 adult children with special needs living at home with her, and her husband is the only one working right now. I feel like a heel seeing her after all these years and taking money from her.

Yes! I had no idea my rib cage was going to expand like that! I wore a 32D pre-preg and at the end I was in a 40DD with a cotton band. Then I lived in sleep bras for awhile, and now I'm a saggy barely D, but at least my ribs went back where they are supposed to be.

1) I was playing Christmas music up until this week. Spring is finally almost here.

2)DH wants me to get a boob reduction when I am done bfing...

3)I'm sad I outgrew even the on-line orders for VS, and kohls for bras. I love vs bras and when I could wear them they were the main stash because the ladies always did a great job in helping me finding good supportive bras. So worth it when you have big jugs that cause you back pain...

4)Jo has been napping for a really long time today and I should be getting house work done. But my hip and knee are killing me with all of the weather changes....

It doesn't matter her home situation, you likely don't know it all. So this may well within her means.

I used cjs on my hands all winter just for that reason since my lo likes to suck on fingers. I figured it was a decent compromise since I needed to constantly wash my hands, but they hurt from being so dry.

And I can't wait to be able to wear VS bras again. I think we have a william and soma, and I know we have a boutique for bras. I just always need help on finding good ones to hold my boobs up.

side note, has anyone hear done the pencil test under your boobs to see how much they sag? Um Mine could hold a pencil since after hs....

@blondolphn‌ I'm not sure what the pencil test entails, but my "glorious nursing boobs" barely filled a B cup. So I'm gonna say they can't do anything with a pencil.
