For the record, just because you don't actually deliver your baby in May doesn't mean you have to transfer to the month you actually deliver in, unless of course, you want to. We have several other moms who will likely not deliver in May, however, they'll just hang with us because that's when they were suppose to deliver and theyve also established themselves here.
You have a great attitude! That will help you tremendously throughout the journey that lays ahead. I hope that baby stays in as long as possible and that you have have a smooth ride in the NICU. Having a preemie is tough, but they are such little miracles!
Just an update: we made it to week 32 everything is pretty much the same. Still breech still, chilling here in my hospital room. I'm really becoming a pro at proceedures and senarios since I've met almost every kind of doctor under the sun. I do have more questions for the nicu specialist when they drop by again but it's kind of neat being in a place where I could have just about every thought answered from next steps to fmla paperwork handled. I assume I will get bored eventually but for now I'm just trying to make sure everything is in place for LO. Happy St. PATTY'S day everyone!
I did join by creating an account, changing my picture...I posted a couple times on my lunch break and read a lot I just didn't get to be as involved as I wanted to. One of my favorite threads was bitchy monday or some sort. The dumb question one was a good one too.

Yes, we all joined The Bump by creating an account, and some of us even changed out pictures to something personal, and not just a generic option. Some of us have thousands of posts, and even bothered to officially introduce ourselves to this group of ladies and be active participants. You had 4 posts before this discussion. We are now within the final weeks of pregnancy, I wouldn't call that having "joined" the "May Club" so I find your wording odd, and the fact that after 4 posts you felt like you were "one of the guys" enough to share your very personal struggles with us. I'm glad you're getting the "support" you need right now.
Wow. Just wow. Maybe I'm extra hormonal because I just had a baby but I'm really hurt by your posts here. Didn't I also mention I couldn't get this stupid site to work while I was AT work and that's when I had time to read/respond and I actually did read a lot so whatever I'm not here for you I'm here for me and for my baby. Maybe I didn't want to introduce myself til later. Anyway, yes I'm getting all kinds of support from people I know so this doesn't even matter.
Hi everyone I'm happy to report that little Annagrace Matilda U. Made her debut back on the first day of Spring March 20th weighing in at 4lbs even 17inches long and needed no oxygen right off the bat. She had a cpap but after a day was off that too. She has normal breech problems they are trying to correct and normal premie problems she will get past like learning how to eat/breastfeed. It's adorable that her brain knows how to do everything but because she is ptemie it is learning how to do everything all at once like we can such as breathe, swallow, eat, heartbeat all at the same time dad and I are doing really well andcare very proud and the c section wasn't bad at all and I am learning a ton here at the hospital. I will get to go home tomorrow some time and it already is a whirlwind. I think dealing with new hard boobs is the hardest part right now because I know shevwill be stayingbis excellent ca
So yeah, my phone decided to reboot itself while I made that long introduction of my daughter. Oh that feels good to say, my daughter Annagrace, she will be taken care of. The nicu here is amazing! Others come here for the care! God bless you all! Maybe I'll have more time while recovering and she's not home yet! Going home soon!!!!
Yeah, that's why I wanted to post about it. I wanted to let you all know what kind of prep you may need and not know about. I feel like I was a good person to be able to deal because I plan a lot and had a bag packed and lots done in the nursery. I forget that not everyone was expecting middle of may but they could have reached my point earlier or later. So yeah wow what a ride!
While I'm glad that your daughter is doing well. I love that you were only here for yourself and your daughter and not for any of us. Your own words, not mine. That was the previous poster's point. You don't care about any of us, only yourself and your daughter. That's not the point of a community board. I wish your daughter all the health in the world, and I hope that you teach her that to get support, you also have to give it.
I'm still confused by everything you said besides you delivered a healthy baby. Congrats to you, hope she continues to improve and goes home with you soon.

"Congratulations" would have sufficed.

Actually, I don't think "congrats" quite covers the various points she was trying to deliver.
OP, I wish we could have had a more mutual experience and share more of your excitement. Regardless, I'm glad that your little girl is doing well now and that you have had a relatively good experience in the hospital. Sounds like things were really scary for awhile. Hope everyone continues to improve.
