When you have contractions..

When you have contractions, does your baby continue to kick/move during the contraction?

I find myself saying they can't be that bad if she is still kicking around in there.

    Yes, I did. It means nothing about their severity though in my experience.

    Personally, I never noticed the babies kicking during contractions.

    I didn't feel her during my BH, but I was a bit distracted at the time :)  If anything, she started kicking up a storm as soon as each contraction stopped.

    I noticed he became significantly less active during contractions, I don't remember movement at all actually. But this was pitocin induced labor so it came on pretty hard and fast.. I'm not sure if it would be the same in all cases.

    not me,,, i never feel babies kicking through contractions.

    For me Braxton hicks feel similar to what you are describing but only last a few seconds. Contractions for me lasted at least 30 seconds or more and were way more uncomfortable and happen more rhythmically. At 40 weeks I would def call my doc either way. Good luck!
