@babybean82 Did your OB do any urine tests early on to try to catch it? I'm glad you caught it when you did. I'm sorry to hear about the pre-e/hospitalization and wish you lots of luck for the rest of your pregnancy.

I had the normal OB urine checks and blood pressure checks at each appointment, with mine it was really a sudden onset, I had perfect blood pressure and no protein in my urine just a little over 2 weeks ago.
How far along are you? or how many months TTC or PP? TTC starting this month- currently in the 2WW...
How have your BS been running lately? How have you been feeling?
They have been ok- A1C has been creeping up the past few times, but I've made more of a conscious effort to keep it on the low side. Had a setback last week when I woke up disoriented. I couldn't speak. One of my co-workers called the house and then 911. They originally said I had a stroke, but that was all negative. Then they said it was a migraine, but it's looking more like I had a seizure (my guess would be due to hypoglycemia). I have to wear an EEG video monitor for three days next week, which will hopefully come back ok. If I have some kind of seizure disorder, then I'm guessing baby #2 will be on hold for at least a while. I never had a problem like this before. My new Dexcom is in the mail- thank God as I lost the dang transmitter off of my old Dex 7 when I was pregnant last year.
Any appointments or A1C updates you would like to share? My last A1C was 6.8%... I had it down to 5.2% during my last pregnancy.
Any questions for the group?
Anyone else here have seizures? (either due to hypoglycemia or not) I'm terrified of this happening to me again. I was alone with my daughter at the time, who is only 13 months old.
QTKY: What are you looking forward to the most this month?
Warmer weather! Getting our tax money so we can get new floors put in (wayy long overdue).
I have had 2 seizures in my diabetic life (15yrs). They weren't actual seizures, but they were seizure like events due to extermely low blood sugar. When my sugars drop really low, I get VERY disoriented and am kind of in my own little world. I hope that things are improving for you! My doctor tells me that lows are almost non-existant after the first trimester! YAY!
I'm thinking that I can't really feel my lows as much anymore. That's kind of scary. No more seizures thankfully! Hopefully am getting my Dexcom Saturday or Monday.
@babybean82 oh ok. I do the urine checks at each appointment as well and last month my OB had me do a 24 hour urine test just because of my diabetes. I was hoping that you didn't pass one of those and end up with it after all. Regardless, I hope everything goes smoothly from here on out.

I am glad that you are doing better. Before my doc gave my husband the go ahead for baby, she made me work REALLY hard to eliminate my lows. She wanted them eliminated, for the simple fact that you don't recognize your lows as much during pregnancy.
