Self weaning at 11 months

My son is 11 months today. Since yesterday he wants nothing to do with nursing and acts disgusted when I offer him the boob! I'm not sure why. Is it normal for a baby to suddenly wean like this?! It's quite disheartening.

Could it be teething or a cold? I'd keep offering and see what happens.

Agree. From what I've read, it's very rare for a baby to self wean this early. Could be any number of things, including illness or teething, for sure.
