Anyone try or are using their products? Thinking about using the shampoo and body wash with the baby and the laundry detergent. Amazon reviews are limited, thanks!
I was going to give the free trial a shot after LO arrives. I was also going to do some adding to see exactly how much I was spending per month on diapers and wipes to see if the honest deal would be a better route for us. For $80 a month it seems like a pretty good deal but I won't know until I experience it
I ordered a sample diapers a while ago and when they never shipped I called in and they sent me another one without charging me for shipping...both packs came a few days apart. The biggest thing is remembering to cancel so they don't charge your credit card..they give you x amount of days. They weren't too bad to deal with on the phone but fit the only way you can deal with them is through the phone to cancel.

It's definitely not the inexpensive option. We use pampers, premium brand diapers and spend no where near $80 a month on diapers.
Target Up & Up makes great budget diapers. I've heard wonderful things about them.
I've been stocking up on body wash/shampoo, butt cream, lotion, wipes etc. their products seem nice and there customer service is fantastic. I ordered some cleaners once and they can frozen and a little leaked out so when I called to say I lost a little product, they credited my account. They fully credited my account but I only lost maybe 1/2 inch of cleaner. Anyway they seem really good and I feel are worth a shot.
DH and I have been using the shampoo and body wash and we love it. We'll probably try some more of it as it becomes available at our local costco and Buybuybaby. I don't want a subscription because there's only two of us plus baby arriving. We've been using it for 5 months and are only into bottle #3. It really goes a long way in our opinion.
I ordered several of their sample packs, and then cancelled before they charged my card so we could try them before investing in them. Im excited though. We're cloth diapering and I like the idea of an eco friendly disposable, just in case we'd ever need to use them.
Sounds like ppl like their products, I think I'll make an order. As cute as the diapers are, they just seem too expensive, so just soap, shampoo, and detergent for now, thanks!
We used them for a couple months. I loved the cleaning products. Laundry detergent was nothing special and expensive for what it is. I was not a fan of their shampoo/body wash or lotion. The smell was unappealing to me and it gave DD a rash. The healing balm is great. The diapers are super expensive, rough and leaky. Wipes were ok but also not anything special.
I've heard mixed reviews about their diapers. They are cute and eco-friendly, but I've also heard they are stiff and just don't measure up to better known brands. They are also pretty pricey for diapers (I'm planning on cloth diapering and using Honest diapers would compare with hiring a diaper service full-time).
We used their diapers, and I loved how they fit DD1. She was long and lean, and the diapers were very skinny. I don't think they held as much as pampers/huggies/luvs etc.
I also haven't purchased anything from them since they tried to but a stop to Honest Toddler. It was such a ridiculous, petty thing for them to do.
Babyearth.com also has their products for sale. We registered for some diapers there so we can try them out before we commit to the subscription. They seem very expensive though.
I will say that I really love their $35 monthly bundle. Through this PG I've had really sensitive itchy skin everywhere and I switched detergents and use their dryer sheets too and I love it. You can change any 5 products in your bundle every month and the quantities and great.

If you are looking for a less expensive option for baby wash/shampoo, I bought a litre of Dr Bronner's baby mild and I dilute it in a foam pump at about 1/5 soap to 4/5 water. It works great, is unscented and is super cheap/environmentally friendly/no chemicals. I paid $14 and it will last practically forever.
I got the free sample back of the essentials bundle and diapers/wipes. Since baby isn't here yet I haven't used the diapers to comment but they're super cute! I really like the laundry detergent and bought a full size bottle to wash baby's clothes. I have also been using the sample of the lotion on my face and I think it works great. Haven't tried the shampoo yet though. Also you don't have to get the bundle every month. You can delay your next shipments for at least a couple of months.
I've seen their products at Costco. If you have a membership, or someone in your family does, that could be an easy way to try them out without risking getting stuck in a subscription.

good to know. Honest has some great benefits to it, of course, but when it comes down to it we like to stay on a budget. I mean I hardly even wanted to spend the $6 for shipping of the free trial lol. We are also going with pampers, but I have heard great things about target brand as well and some friends kids preferred them over anything else
Their diapers are nice - the wipes are awful, in my opinion. They're similar to Huggies wipes, which are rough as opposed to the pampers sensitive wipes which don't make your baby's bum red and uncomfortable. But, I also like their household cleaning products.
I got their free samples for diapers and also other products, then called to cancel before the auto-refills kicked in. I was really impressed with how easy they made it and their customer service - she made me open to using them again in the future (with actual orders...) because the rep was so nice!
