Well its almost Thursday everywhere over there....
My UO:
I think women who worry about packing make up and hair product/equipment other than a hairbrush and hair tie in their hospital bag sound vain. And anyone who takes time to do their made up and/or when they go into labor are crazy! I understand the idea of a bit of lippy and mascara to help perk yourself up, but anything beyond that I just don't get. I also think anyone who wont ever leave the house with out makeup on and perfect hair are just ridiculous.
Ok, who's next?

Re: UO
I'm actually surprised by a lot of the lists in general. I understand being prepared, but seriously some of these lists are more stuff than I'd pack for a two week trip. Overpacking is a huge peeve of mine. It's like hoarding to-go.
I feel that circumcisions are not necessary. A babies wee wee should be left as is.
Edit, change wording
However, I do find the new toddler "hipster" style to be freakin adorable!

My UO is that I'm a little disturbed at all these doctors telling their patients they will need to induce early without any real reason. I'm 35+ weeks with twins, GD, and mild pre-e and we didn't schedule my RCS until last week. Unless something is getting lost in translation? My twins will be here at 36 weeks and I wish I could keep them in even longer
That's why I think it's more about the mother to feel better, rather her than try to impress anyone. I personally don't give a shit how someone thinks I look but if I can help not looking like dick just to make myself feel better, then so be it.
The "overpacking is hoarding to-go" comment is funny. I agree too an extent but I'm also in the No harm, No foul camp. As long as you have room in the car and can carry all the stuff it doesn't really hurt to be over prepared.
But the people requesting random breast milk on FB for their kids and/or holistic cures for themselves is fair game for my immediate "eewwww!" reaction.
For premies donated breast milk over formula can prevent against very serious, possibly deadly infections. But you're right, it's SO gross. Let me call it off, hold on a second.
I really do not understand, "well I have been drinking cows milk for 30 years so it is not gross but breastmilk is nasty!" I cannot wrapmy head around that one...
Andplusalso, "baby's."

As for birth plan: not doing a Bradley Method type birth plan where everything is planned out, but I want to type up simple things like "Delayed cord clamping, do not give the baby a pacifier, breast feeding, saving placenta for encapsuation." Just enough so those few things you typically have choices on are in writing and available for everyone to see and understand.
I'll have to come up with my own unpopular opinion later...but I am armed with GIFs today.
Then I peed on a stick...
This. It's arguably way more unnatural to drink a different mammal's milk thank your own, so I don't get how a baby drinking breast milk from a human can be gross.
