I am looking forward to a much needed getaway. Trying to plan a few days away either to Massachusetts or New Hampshire - our favorite two places. Even though it won't be until April - it gives me something to look forward to.

Hey Ladies,

Hope you are all ok. So sorry for those struggling, you're in my thoughts-

Still waiting for our donor to get her period...I know it's not her fault or anything, but I'm starting to get really frustrated with the process. I'm sick of trying to plan our lives around cycling.

We were going to go to FL in early may (it makes summer feel extra long!!) but I'm starting to be concerned that the trip could be right around transfer time. Guess all we can do is wait and see. Fx I get a call in the next couple of days-

I am just so happy it's not miserable and bitter cold everyday!!

Hi Everyone,

My WTF is tomorrow, late afternoon. I hope to have some clarity of WTH happened. I also hope that my DH is open to listening to what she has to say.

QOTW: Dh and I are heading to Las Vegas at the end of the month for a wedding. We will be there for an extended weekend, I'm happy for the break from life for a few days. The weather here has been great (with the exception of yesterday). I may do some yard work this weekend. Hooray for the spring!!

Hugs to everyone! I am having a huge fight with my mother because of DH and I am soooo sick of it. I also am having problems with my allergies/immune system so eating is a challenge I wish it was summer already things seem to be better then.

My D&C is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I can't wait for it to be over. I HATE being put under.

I am jealous of all of you with wonderful vacation plans! I think now is a good time to start planning one of our own.

I have two consults for next week. I'm excited to learn more about DE but stressed to hear about the cost.
I get a beta Friday and I hope it's back to 0. What a week.
Ohh also we had our taxes done by our accountant, claimed roughly 40k in medical for ivf n meds and only get almost $1,000 back so that was a little disappointing.

Just chugging along in the 2WW. I will probably POAS this weekend at 8/9dp5dt. DH told me last night that he misses the person I was before IF... I wanted to throw something at him, but truthfully I miss that person too.

I also think it's about time we jump on the vacation planning train

Big huge hugs to those that need it! This has been a rough time for many on this board and it breaks my heart.
AF was due today and no signs of her...I want to get this show on the road already. We have an RE appt Monday for viral blood draws and to sign paperwork. We are supposed to get another snow storm tonight which sucks and my dad is coming down to check my oil because DH insists it's totally empty even after putting oil in?!?!? I think he doesn't know how to read it and hoping this is the case because I can't afford to have car troubles now. I am in two weddings this summer so lots of showers and bachelorette parties coming up which is something to look forward to

Hey Everybody. There has been a lot of sad news on the board lately. I'm sorry & huge hugs to all of those currently going through a loss.

I am on lupron right now gearing up for my next cycle. I don't even know what cycle number this is for me! I barely GAF these days! I'm also tired of planning everything around IF.

QOTD- We are going to the Dominican Republic in August. I almost said no to the trip because if this cycle works, I'll be pregnant. BUT I said F that! If I am pregnant, I'll deal & if I'm not...I'll have a fab time. I'm tired of bring a slave to IVF!

We are going to punta Cana in August! Where are you going! We debated a lot too and same here that I hopefully am pregnant! We too are so sick of planning everything around IF. So we put it on a credit card and are living life!

Big hugs to chucktgirl. I hope tomorrow starts your healing process. I hate being put under as well, but I will tell you that I felt incredibly better after my D&C was done. All the waiting and stress about what's going on is finally over. Afm, I have no big plans to look forward to. DH lost his job so no big vacations. We lost our measley health insurance too so no plans for anything IF related.

Hugs all around.... I've become the queen of post and dash but usually because I'm coming off a 12 hour work bender, LOL. Gotta get to sleep so I can do it all again bright an early!!!

Anywho... not much besides work over here. I'm having a hysteroscopy on Friday and then just farting around all weekend in "recovery mode". Depending on what they find it may set me back in our plans for FET #2 but honestly, I don't care. I'm feeling pretty blah about this whole process right now.

Once the weather gets warm I'm excited to move the fire pit and lawn furniture back out and just chill with some nice cold brewskis Ahhhh....

We are running a 5k for Preeclampsia in May (link is in my siggy if interested in checking out the info) so hopefully warm weather comes soon so I can get some outdoor training in before then!!

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow chucktgirl. Huge ((hugs)) all around. AFM: No exciting warm weather plans coming up. I got a little sun while reading on my back patio yesterday and can't wait for the temps to be consistent enough for me to be out there regularly. I am scary pasty white!

Thank you to all the personal shout-outs. I need to update that I have canceled the D&C for tomorrow. The billing manager from the hospital outpatient surgery facility called me to warn me that my insurance does not cover their bills. So, out of pocket tomorrow morning, I would have to provide $2542 to the facility (simply for use of the facility and a nurse), PLUS $570 to the anesthesiologist, PLUS my OB's surgery fee, which was not available to them. I was dumbfounded, and needless to say, not prepared to pay $4000 tomorrow morning! This whole process has been very frustrating. While I like the two OBs in this practice personally, I don't feel their practice is very well run. Their office was closed today, due to snow, so there was no one to help me. So my husband and I spent literally all afternoon, about four hours, calling all over the city to find a lower cost. We found out that this place was so expensive because it is a hospital outpatient surgery facility, which charges a premium. We found a generic "surgery center" that costs about half, $1250, for just the facility, but my OB doesn't have privileges there- her partner, basically a stranger to me, does, so he would have to perform the procedure. Finally, our last option is Planned Parenthood, who will do it next Wednesday for $485, but at that cost, I doubt they use anesthesia. I'm guessing they probably do a local at the cervix. I am just at a loss and don't know what to do. I'm bleeding and cramping and can't really lead a normal life until this is taken care of. Geez, I didn't intend this to be a novel! Sorry. Bottom line is that there is no D&C tomorrow and I do not yet have a solid plan in place.

You live in Michigan not outer space wtf. Can you call the insurance and ask where they will pay for you to go? Can you ask the OB to do it at the hosptial? There is no hospital with a l&d triage unit?

Chuckt- I'm also dumbfounded?? I've had 2 d&cs done here in the ambulatory surgical part of the hospital by my OB. I didn't pay a dime with my insurance (had already paid my $250 deductible) No of this makes sense to me- this is a medically necessary surgery for you- not infertlity based etc. Wouldn't it be covered simply with Obamacare now? I can't think that anyone would have to pay for this. I am so so sorry that this is such a nightmare.
