Another growth spurt post...3 month

Please, please, please tell me that this is the 3 month growth spurt that my normally happy and talkative boy is going through. He will be 13 weeks on Thursday (3 months next Wednesday). The past 3 days have been awful. He cries all day unless I am standing and holding him. We are constantly rotating between the swing, playmat, exersaucer, tummy time, my lap, and standing. Nothing makes him happy except standing with him. He is not sleeping during the day, and is only getting 1-3 hour spans at night. Normally he would get a 6hr one at the start of the night. By the time my husband gets home I am basically throwing LO at him so I can go cry because I feel like I'm doing something wrong and he won't stop crying. Is anyone else dealing with this, or has already dealt with it?

    Sure sounds like the GS. 3 month was by far the worst for us. Hang in there - when they come out of that (and the wonder week) they are all smiles and new skills. DS just started doing full on belly laughs and it is hilarious!

    My LO is 14 weeks and we are going through something similar. He normally sleeps great throughout the day and will sleep 8-9 hr stretches at night. For the past couple days he only wants to be held and is going back to every 2-3 hours at night. I'm hoping it passes quickly!

    If this is extremely unusual behavior for him, you might want to take him to the doctor and have his ears checked.

    I ended up doing this a lot when my DD was an infant and would either get reassurance that it just seemed to be a GS or find out she had an ear infection that we could treat.

    In the middle of this too...not quite as bad, but he definitely refused to sleep last night. :-/ hope it doesn't last long.

    DD will be 3 months tomorrow, and we were lucky if she slept 2 hours at a time last night. She's been eating like crazy and is super fussy. She goes from happy to OMG I'M STARVING NO ONE EVER FEEDS ME in about 3 seconds flat. Here's hoping it ends quickly! (otherwise I will need to get more coffee and wine)

    I think I'll be sending dh out to get me wine tomorrow if this keeps up. It has been a loooong 3 days

    On day 4 and the end seems to be in sight. LO slept a 4 hour span last night and is currently napping (on me but at least he is napping during the day). I hope this means that my sweet baby will be back soon.
