Hi All - Does anyone have the BJCS and if so, what color do you have? I am going to place an order for one today and can't decide between the onyx, quartz, and special edition silver. I'm afraid that the onyx (black seat, silver frame) will be too hot in the sun and will fade, but I also worry about the silver getting dirty and the black frame scratching. Does the quartz look tan? I have no idea what they look like in person (no stores in our area carry them) so this is proving to be a really tough decision! Thanks!

I have silver and it's ok. It does show dirt. I feel like it never looks clean. But I bought it on sale. So, I knew there was a risk. If I could go back, I'd get black or even the red or purple. Every time I see the red or purple out and about, it looks super clean and bright. Which, I though I wouldn't like the bright ones. The quartz might be ok since it matches playground dirt

@ceechie - do you have the limited edition silver with the newer fabric or the diamond color? I'm thinking black also, just so afraid it will look faded and old in a year...

We have the BJCM in red and I love it. We haven't necessarily put it to the test yet since the girls haven't been allowed out about a ton, but it hasn't shown much in the way of dirt to-date, and is nicely gender-neutral....should we decide to be crazies and have a 3rd.

I have the onyx and haven't had any problems with it so far. I'm in FL and have used it for daily walks (between 2-3 miles) since August. I haven't noticed any fading, but I haven't used it in the heat of summer yet. On our warm days I vent the canopy a little and when I stick a hand in, it's still noticeably cooler.

Probably diamond. I bought ours in 2011. And it was a 2010 model, that's how I got it discounted. I will say that it is dirty, not faded. For that price, it better not fade!

I have a light grey almost white one. It has gotten a little dirty over the years, but the price was so much less that it was worth it. It still looks okay.

Personally I wanted something that would show up, for safety reasons. The closer to asphalt color, the harder it will be for cars to see you. I also stuck reflective stickers on mine.

I have a black one. It hasn't faded and I pull the shades down if it's sitting in the sun so I didn't have problems with those 2 issues.

Hi! Stage four lurker here

I don't normally participate because I don't have multiples, but with 2u2 coming soon, I feel that a lot of advice still applies. That said, I'm picking up the BJCS in the new teal. I was worried that the black would get to hot, and I'm not overly fond of red, and DH doesn't want the purple... So teal it is! Just for another color option. It's currently available at BBB.

I have the black with silver frame...it looks nice, but we haven't used it yet---we are using a double snap and go someone gave us. I never thought about the fading! FTM here! Haha!
