Cabbage patch baby washing ?

So Mirabelle had fun playing with her poop during her nap today. She smeared it everywhere including all over her beloved "baby". DH threw "Baby" into the washing machine without reading the tag. I rescued "Baby" from the washer but she had been in there about 10 minutes and was thoroughly soaked. The tag says surface wash only..and now I'm worried "baby" will get moldy inside and need to be replaced. Anyone else have experience with cabbage patch babies being washed in the washer? Thanks!

    I would love to know how to wash the CP dolls with regular hair?? I would just try to wring out the body and let her air dry. Emery's is super dirty and I would love to wash her.
