I love both but my favorite is Disneyland and its closer to me than wdw. I've gone every year to either park since i was since a year old with the exception of last year. I love all things Disney and i can't wait to do a Disney cruise with Wesley on
Yeah disneys history is littered with sexism and racism. Im not really into the princesses, but some of the newer ones arent that bad. I mainly like pixar movies and disney jrs doc mcstuffins.
I guess when I think of Disney I don't even think about the princesses. I think more Tinkerbell, Mickey and Pirates.
@CK2MD that article is pretty interesting. I understand what the lady was saying and don't disagree but I think there is a huge grey area in which kids can enjoy Disney without being surrounded by princess stuff. I have watched my stepsons and their friends go through so many phases of things that are so cool then they get over it. In the last 4 years we have been through Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Pirates, soccer, Spongebob and playing Police and explorers. I won't push princess stuff but I won't freak if Ashley gets into it a little cause chances are she will be into something else within the year.
My house is filled to the brim with disney princesses and minnie mouse toys. I grew up on disney and disney princesses and it has never affected my view of what it means to be a woman.
i'd rather take the money i'd spend going to WDW and go to Hawaii or something.
This. I picked SS because I have zero desire to go to Disney anything. With perhaps a single exception (the movie UP), I think most of Disney's messages aren't healthy for children (perhaps this is an UO that should be saved for Thursday
Please to explain
This! We also have no desire to take DS to Disney and I agree with the unhealthy message to children
