They chose me as a juror for a murder trial. The process took forever. I was over 30 min late picking up KJ. DH is out if town until Thursday. I just wasn't prepared for this. I was crying walking out of the court house. This just sucks. I guess there is never a good time for this. I guess Maybe I should feel worse for the defendant....

    I can't imagine going through that emotionally, especially caring for LO alone this week. I agree it says a lot about your character hope it goes quick.

    You can do it! It'll be hard but you'll make it through.

    Is there any way to tell them you HAVE to leave by a certain time since you are the sole caregiver this week? Hope you won't be late often!

    I just called a friend to help pick her up if needed. I am going to ask to be done by 5:30 though.

    And there's a mom of 6 month old twins on the jury too.
