Lucas Update (Monday)

PICC is placed and he did great. We are now free to go, just waiting until he finishes napping and takes a bottle and we'll be headed home.
The line is in his arm just above his elbow, which I'm not thrilled about because I'm predicting the dressing may be harder to keep on there. But it might turn out to be easier than his chest in a lot of ways, and hopefully it won't stay too long.
He's lost a whole pound since Thursday. They expected him to lose weight at first once he came off the fluids, but I'm already having a lot of anxiety about it - I just want this to stick! He's been handling overnight tube feeds like a champ, though, so we should be able to get him a lot of extra calories that way.
So now we wait and see.

We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

@Meimsx poops are trending in the right direction, but he also didn't eat from 4am-3pm, so we'll see.
