My mom and I took all 3 kids to the community center. She took DS1 swimming and I took the twins for a walk/stroller ride on their indoor track. It felt great to get a little exercise!
Went to doctor appointment Cooked dinner and did the dishes Crocheted my H a skull can cozie (sp?) for our anniversary tomorrow Cleaned the baby chicks box out and than proceeded to chase a stubborn ass chick around my house when the little bugger got loose.
First day of maternity leave: did dishes, laundry, cleaned out closet and took care of my 2 year old twins one of whom has a horrible cold. Now it's bed time!
Actually we took all three to a 'Mom, Pop & Tot' fair yesterday where DS1 got to play in bouncy castles, go to a petting zoo (which had a wallaby!) and on a pony ride. Today we're just staying home, for the first time in a week!!
I took tags off gifts from my coworkers from my work shower last night. Now I'm catching up on DVR'd shows. I'm just not very motivated this weekend, getting over this awful cold.
i made it to work today!! i had on and off contractions for 12+ hours yesterday before they finally quit, which i was kinda mad about(story for another day) anyway, everyone told me to stay home and rest, and i'm so glad i didn't waste the time and made it in to work!
Even though i'm just sitting at my desk wasting away the time, at least i'm here and who knows maybe the activity will get her moving again!
I just did an enormous stock up trip to Target. I won't have to go out for household supplies for at least a month. I also got padsicle ingredients.
I'm all about the stock up. Don't want to run out of toilet paper!
We now have 24 mega rolls of Charmin. That should last a while.
If you're going to Target today, you might want to check these deals out: there are mobile coupons for $20 off $50 worth of household supplies and $15 off $40 worth of up and up (store brand) stuff, which includes their store brand diapers.
Passed my MBLEX exam today!!! Such a relief.. This is for my massage therapy license. I can finally relax and focus on baby's arrival!!! (Of course.. Until my second and final exam). PHEW!!!
I took MH's Jeep into the dealer today with a check engine light on to discover it needs a new head end. Luckily it is under warranty since it is fairly new. Evidently it happens in 30% of the rubicons from the year it was manufactured.
Then MH got his tdap.
I did bank, target, publix (grocery store).
Cleaned the ceiling fans, sterilized all the bottles, on my 4th load of laundry. MH has scrubbed all the floors and baseboards. Getting all the construction crap cleaned up.
Oh, and I have a whole chicken in the oven that will make tonight and tomorrow's dinner.
Found a great $19 maxi to wear home from the hospital, got the car washed, survived costco on the weekend and got enough paper plates and cups to last me my matern leave, walked the dog, gave her a bath and DH and I installed the car seat! Super productive and now my feet are up
-assembled crib -folded and put away all baby clothes -helped MH finish trimming out the beams upstairs -napped -finished last-minute baby shopping on Amazon (some diaper flats, receiving blankets, crib sheets....)
Really need to put all the furniture in the living room back now. We had to move it all in order to position the ladders under the beams (we have a cathedral ceiling upstairs) and then I was too exhausted to help put it back....
I finally got DH to mop the floors and I made dinner! Also did hit pressure points to try and induce contractions and have been having some sort of contractions for a bit, but nothing exciting yet.
Vacuumed our room, cleaned the kitchen, vacuumed and mopped the living room/kitchen. Now I'm bouncing on my yoga ball trying to see if this "cramping" will get going somewhere.
We actually had ppl over for a last game night before baby on Friday. So that was a feat. Basically the only other thing accomplished was a load of laundry.
