@amberrrjade @cfox815 my mom used to tell me when I was little that it was illegal to poop outside the home so I pretty much was brainwashed to hold it. When I got older I just didn't out of habit

Vs my husband who I guess was raised with the need to poop in every establishment bathroom ever

    That is straight up crazy!

@cfox815 nope! And nope @kellykins I got too used to it not being allowed that I literally can't. Super unhealthy, I know.

This must make for some miserable vacations!
  • Nhie: waxed my own brows

I haven't waxed my brows, but I did try to give myself a Brazilian wax once... Bad news bears. When I couldn't force myself to inflict the pain anymore I tried Nair. Gave myself a chemical burn on my lady bits. My ex husband came home from Iraq the next day. Not pleasant.

Woke up and thought of one!!!

    NHIE nursed another woman's child.

Lol. I would do it. My friend had to go to the dentist and her baby refuses bottles so I said I'd watch and nurse her.

    I would, too.

True story, I was nursed by my Mom's best friend sometimes. She and my Mom had babies on the same day. We were both bottle resisters so when my Mom needed to go to the doctor, dentist, etc. her friend would watch me and nurse me, and my Mom did the same for her son.

I think I would do it too. But I haven't yet. I would love to know if anyone has.
A friend of mine (who had a baby 6 weeks after me) and I were just talking about this. We decided we would do it for a close friend, not just anyone. I can see where it would make sense for bottle resisters.

Hmm depends for whom, but I would do it. Also, after I'm done breastfeeding, I will donate the pumped breastmilk that I have (not a humongous amount but decent) to a hospital/milk-bank where it will primarily be used for preemies.

Edit: re-posted the link, now it works.

I would be careful with a website like that. I was considering it and then started to research the company. Here was one of the blogs I ran into.

I am looking into Human Milk for Human Babies and Eats on Feets instead. That way I know exactly who is getting the milk.
