  Just got back from our appointment!  Everything looks healthy and on track, but the baby wouldn't cooperate for the heart or spine measurements so we are getting a repeat anatomy scan at my 24 week appointment next month.  He did quickly flash his goods though, and we got another boy guess (we were told boy at one of those elective ultrasound places at 17 weeks) so I am finally fully convinced that we are having a son!

  Congratulations to everyone!!! I love the names picked out and am happy for all of you!
  I am jealous I don't have my a/s until Tues the 11th- but hoping baby is calm enough to get the measurements they need! I was very relieved my blood tests came back negative for any birth defects, but still anxious & worried as this has been a difficult ft pregnancy, so thoughts & prayers would be appreciated!

  just wanted to update we heard back from the doctor today and we are having a healthy baby girl we are both very excited though dh's family still is in disbelief and say they we believe it when they see it though they are excited.< background there is no girls born in dh's family for generations.> we have decided on the name Kara Adeline D.   We are also having a healthy baby girl! Had our scan in Friday and she was sleeping and hard to measure at first. We got her to move and they finished, and both the tech and the doctor told us they saw girl parts.
