I don't know why anyone who isn't a doctor thinks it is appropriate to comment on someone else's weight. I'm sorry that your husband is being a jerk @mrsdbc You need to do what's right for you and what's right for baby. If your husband continues to comment, hand him some pregnancy books and then he can educate himself since he so clearly wants to know it all in regards to your body.
SS - I think I'm having BH's, but I'm not sure at all. I keep feeling my uterus harden up, like become a tight little ball or something. It's not painful but just really weird. Does tHis sound like BH? Is it normal?
@lest12 sounds exactly like BH. Out your feet up and drink some water.
Thanks, @ugabamafans, will do!
Sorry to be *such* a SS - but I've been getting them a lot the last few days. I haven't counted, but it's definitely noticeable.
Is this normal? It seems it, but... When do you get worried?

Sounds like BH to me. Like ugabamafans said it usually means you need to drink more. So I usually get them a lot :-S
DH and I went on a weekend trip for a wedding and by the end I realized I seriously needed a new overnight bag. Just ordered a super cute one on Amazon and now am really excited to think of it as my soon to be "hospital bag"!
@brighteyes112 The shooting pain thing I asked my doctor about last time and she laughed saying it was nerve compression and for me to "get used to it." I sometimes find that when I have that pain my body takes it as needing to pee and I do end up going multiple times in a row because of it. That said, it also could be a UTI, so probably is worth mentioning to the doc next time.
@rachel5130 & @ugabamafans - sorry to bother both of you. I'm drinking water and at work and these BH's aren't really stopping They are kind of making me nervous.
OK, thank you. I guess I'll just call (can't hurt, right?)
@mrsdbc, I am not really sure. I've probably had 3 in the last 2 hours?
I'm feeling very overwhelmed because I can't pay attention to my BH because I keep getting interrupted at work. Then I'll just notice that I'm having one
@lest12 - keep us updated! I'm glad you called, always better safe than sorry - even if your dr is an asshat.
Also, this is silly, but I keep a postit on my computer monitor with the times of day I need to get up and refill my water, cause I will completely forget too. Maybe trying this, or setting an alert on your phone or calendar will help? Have all my FX crossed for you girl.
@abastian00 - I need to do something, man. I get so busy during the day that I totally forget. Then I go home and I'm trying to slam 8 glasses of water between 5:00 and 8:00 at night (not too late because I'll be getting up to pee every two minutes!)
@lest12 sending you good juju! Fwiw I just had a PTL class and it said for singletons anything over 4 contractions an hour you gotta call. Hope it's just annoying BH!

I could definitely use more water. And I'm definitely not at 4x an hour, but I guess now I'll at least pay a little more attention to it.

Thanks.
I just called. They are having me go in at 2:30 to have the Dr. check on me.
I can't believe I have to leave work early *again*. So overwhelming.
Thank you guys

It's clearly a flawed system, lol.
@rachel5130 - I know you are absolutely right. Some days are better than others but overall I'm not great.
Thanks again
Thanks guys! This board is right on, the doctor said 4+ an hour to get worried. And to drink water and rest up.
They're at about one an hour now so I'm good, just trying to keep my eye on things
hubby loved it! He was the one who got me started on it
