My almost 7 month old is uninterested in purées. I've tried several different foods but he doesn't want it. I'm going to wait a couple weeks then try again but I've heard that some babies that won't eat purées respond well to skipping them and going straight to finger foods. Any comments or thoughts on this? I don't know much about it. Plus, I keep hearing horror stories from my mother about my brother when he was little because he choked on everything. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Feeding goes in trends. Sometimes purees are big, but right now its BLW. I recommend doing a little research on BLW , but don't push purees if baby isn't into it.
Re: Baby led weaning
There is an entire book about BLW.
