@annalisel how are you? Are you still trying to adopt? I sometimes lurk over on that board but haven't been lately. Wasn't sure where in the process you were. Hope all is well :)

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Hi @BeckyP005 ! Things are going well with the adoption process. We were matched with an expectant mom last fall and brought home a baby boy a month later! We are having a great time and so in love with him. It's so gratifying to help him learn things and make him smile. (I don't want to share a photo because he is not legally our child yet.)

    I'm sorry your waiting time is still going on. So frustrating. 

    Oh, and I didn't know your puppy's name is Ollie. Our orange kitty is also an Ollie! Alas we could now not use Oliver as a baby boy's name :-)

    Omg how did I miss this! Maybe I new and forgot but would feel bad if that was the case!! Congrats!!!! So happy for you!!! Guess I don't lurk enough over there lol.

    Only the cat is mine. Ollie belongs to the family I work for but I have him alot and he thinks I'm his mommy haha.

    Thanks Becky. We're very happy and feel so fortunate.

    Oh and the 40+ age thing? Hasn't been an issue yet :-)
