That awful feeling when ur TTC, AF shows up yesterday. Today a pg lady is talking very loud about her pregnancy in the break room at work. I just ended my lunch break early, thx lady. Sometimes I wish people would be a little bit considerant of others. Not everybody wants to hear about ur pregnancy details

Yes that's positive thinking Davie813, hopefully so. Samuelismomma no she doesn't, but either way she doesn't have to talk so damn loud. It's obvious she was craving attention from others, but this isn't the first time. She's kinda obnoxious about it. Perhaps I'm alittle sensitive cause I'm TTC.

I know it stinks.... and hurts. I know when I am FINALLY pregnant that I will be super sensitive about talking about my pregnancy. I know several of my friends and coworkers are struggling and I am sure there are many that I don't know about. People are pretty ignorant- all you can do is roll your eyes and excuse yourself.

Hang in there- your time will come!

I don't really mind it in general unless they are complaining about every symptom that they have and that they are getting "fat". Really? I would love to have all these symptoms.. heck, I would love to just be able to be pregnant.

Exactly ksgsmu, I tried to wait it out hoping she would hush after a few minutes. Lol it never happened, so I excused myself as if I had to make a phone call. Hopefulsoul2 I'm just trying to stay positive and focused, thank goodness I didn't have a melt down (no crying). T2mofok thank goodness she's not in my department otherwise I prob would hear about the complaining

I have coworkers that keep asking when we are going to have a baby. I just want to yell at them "I'm trying dammit!" or show them my chart or something.

It's so tough but hopefully you can keep your nose down and just put your headphones in to ignore that insensitive fat pregnant woman! LOL! J/K on the fat thing.

I hear ya. I'm sorry you have to listen to that. The comment that I hear that puts an automatic knife in my chest is, "Yep, we're pregnant on the first try." Hugs to all!

Soontobeshrader at times I wish I could tell people the same response you said. My co workers have been asking me that question too. My response "maybe it's meant to be that I will only have one child & you know I'm a woman of a certain age". Jenfer916 I soooo hate that statement too, ugh

I'm pretty sure that, as happy as I'll be, I'll still complain about being fat, sick and uncomfortable during pregnancy. All the excitement and anticipation won't be able to make up for the fact that it's just not fun at times.

Anyway, that helps me keep it in perspective and maintain my composure when dealing with the office pregnant lady.

That, and reminding myself that I was pretty ignorant to how widespread IF is, so if I hadn't gone through myself I would totally be that completely clueless "insensitive" pregnant lady.

soontobeshrader .... Hahahahaha!!! "fat pregnant woman!" I'm laughong so loud.... I also get questioned on when I am going to be pregnant. I work with about 60 guys so I just tell them every little detail about TTC. Most of them have stopped asking.
