Eliot's early arrival

Hello ladies!!  I gave birth to my beautiful baby Eliot 4 weeks early on Tuesday morning.  I have been planning a home birth through out this whole pregnancy and had my heart set on it, however it was not an option anymore when my water broke Sunday at midnight.  I was a bit terrified being that I believed he was in the transverse position most of my pregnancy, however found out later that he was indeed head down and probably has been all this time because he still felt transverse to me.  I was amazed by that and very excited that I wasn't going to need a cs. Funny thing is all the inversions and crazy things I did to get him to be head down when he already was.  The dr thinks that my water broke early due to some sort of infection possibly. I still had an all natural birth and had a great experience with the hospital I birthed at and the dr was amazing and super nice and supportive which was so surprising to me since I had only first met him day of birth. Eliot was 5 lb 7oz and has been doing fantastic and has passed all his tests and bloodwork and have had no problems thus far.  We will be going home today!!  Just wanted to share my story with you all.  Good luck and happy births to all of you!! :)
