23 weeks tomorrow and I've gained 12 so far. I was thinking this was a lot but haven't researched it, so thank you all for making me realize it's normal!
20 weeks and I haven't gained at all. I have an appt on Friday so we'll see what my OB says. He wanted me to gain by this appointment. But I think it's because I started out heavier than I should be so it's just redistributing.
23+1 and I'm down 5-10lbs... Depends on if I poo or not and when I weigh myself... Since I started overweight dr said a maximum of 15lbs gained so im trying super hard to accomplish that
Almost 20 weeks along and I've gained around 18 lbs! I'm trying not to worry, I am eating healthy and exercising sooooo I guess I'll just continue with that
I LOVE ALL YOU LADIES. Especially with those that have had big jumps in this last month. I did too about 8-9 pds and was just down about it a bit after working really hard to stay steady with eating choices and working out. I am 23 weeks tomorrow and have gained 21. Seriously y'all made my day for making me not feel alone!!!!
22 weeks and up 15 pounds. 7 were in the last month. I gained like 8 a month last time and my doc never said a word! I gained like 60 total. I'm kinda pissed at myself for gaining that much this month, but I own it! Sonic and peanut butter cups and melted cheese sandwiches. Oh, boy! Doc said I was dehydrated (still) so maybe if I focus on my h2o consumption, I'll slow the eff down on my snacking. Ps: glad you guys seem real compared to another major baby site forum. No one over there has gained more than 5 pounds. Riiiiiiiiiiiight. Bitches.
I had gained 3 pounds at my 16 week. I lost 5 pounds in the beginning when my morning sickness was the worst, so I was 8 pounds up from my lowest pregnancy weight but only up 3 pounds from where I started. My a/s is on Friday so we will see where I am then.
Still technically haven't gained anything but that's just because I'm still gaining back my lost weight from morning sickness. I'm up 7 of the 15 pounds I initially lost but still down 8 from my starting point. But that 7 was just in 4 weeks so I should be about on track
Gonna add on here... Has anyone else heard that by 20 weeks you've gained about 1/3 of your total pregnancy weight gain? Wondering if any STM's could vouch for this... I'm sure it's not as accurate as people say but wondering if it's in the ball park

Never heard of this but if it's true, that's good to hear!! I've been terrified I'm gaining way too much too soon this time, although this thread made me feel a little better. I'm a third time mom but can't remember for the life of me when I gained the weight with the other two, I only remember 21 lbs total with the first and 28 lbs with the second, so 10 lb already with this one was kinda freaking me out! I could do 30 lbs. Crossing fingers it's still a little less so it's easier to lose. I ended up losing 15 lbs or so when baby was born each time so definitely not ALL baby but close to.
I've been worried because the scale hasn't moved, and baby was a little on the low side in weight on our A/S -- growing accordingly, but a little small. I have a gastric band, and I can only eat about a cup of food at each sitting. I'm trying to get approval from my insurance to get my band loosened. (Out of pocket, cash only, the visit would cost 200, and the needle to draw out fluid costs 200.) I just keep trying to get in liquid nutrition to hopefully boost baby's growth. I have noticed this week that some of my choices in food selection have led to me being able to eat a little more.
20 weeks, about 10 pounds. I weight myself on Saturdays, so maybe even more. I think a double chin has developed within the last few days. I'm gaining almost exactly what I did with last pregnancy, so I'm expecting 30-35 pounds total by the end.
19 weeks 5 days.. Initially lost 5lbs during 1st trimester, but gained them back and back at pre-pregnancy weight in the last 4 weeks since my last appt.
23 weeks up 5 pounds. It goes up and down because of the hypermesis. Sometimes I'm at a zero weight gain and other days I'm at a five pound gain. The baby is fine so they don't really care about my weight and I try not to worry when it dips back down.
At 18.5 weeks I was up about 9.5 pounds. For me the weight always comes in REALLY fast in the third tri. With DD1, I had gained about 4 pounds a month, 2 months in a row (end of 2nd tri) and got the side eye from one of the doctors. She said "let's level this out a little". Then the next appointment...only 2 weeks later I was up another 5...haha! Luckily my doctor didn't have any issues. I gained 41 total with dd1 and 38 with dd2.
23 weeks and according to my scale I've gained 17 pounds. In my defense, when I found out I was pregnant I was really sick and couldn't eat, so I was at my lowest weight ever, so I like to think there's about a 3-4 pound cushion there... Regardless, I'm hoping things start to slow down. I go to the dr today and I'm not looking forward to his scale.
So me and my doc are weirded out by my weight. 21 weeks and I'm up 5 lbs from pre-preg weight but with hyperemesis I lost 15lbs the first 3 months. So I gained that back plus in only a month and was up 22 lbs which made no sense in 4 weeks at my last appt. And today I lost 2 more lbs so total from hyperemesis loss is 20lbs.

I'd never heard that but it could be true. In all three of my pregnancies, weight gain has been pretty steady (~1 lb. a week) and the first two times, actually slowed down when I got past 34-35 weeks.
21 weeks and up 10 according to the doctors scale but the first time I had a full bladder and heavy clothes silly me. I've been playing the system ever since pee right before I get weighed and eat a light breakfast.. I think it's more like 14
20w1d and I think I've gained about 12 pounds, depends on the day. Thanks for reviving this thread topic-- makes me feel more normal than when I read weird graphs and charts online.
21w5d and I've gained 4.9 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight, but I started out a bit heavier than I was before my last pregnancy. Doc hasn't been worried, so I'm not.
ETA: If you count in the weight I regained after losing it in 1st tri I am up about 14 lbs.
I am 22weeks and change and am up anywhere from 8-15pounds depending in the day and scale. It was at this point in my pregnancy last time I stopped weighing myself at home. I have an appointment today and am anticipating getting a stern talking to.
Re: Weight gain??
But I think it's because I started out heavier than I should be so it's just redistributing.
