Eeeew! You're Gross!

H and I also pop each other's bacne... and I agree with @shakeweights on the ear hair stuff. Whenever I see men in public (and notice a wedding band) who have nasty long ear-hair, overgrown eyebrows, etc, I always wonder how their spouse can look at it.

This thread has been a great read today and I don't feel as gross as I did thinking about some of the things I do. I can get down with sharing my utensils with my dog, but the cats, I just can't. There shouldn't be a difference but there is. Can't explain it.

I reuse a towel all week. Depending not he amount of showers sometimes I'll switch it midweek. I don't have time to do a load of towels every single week. Plus we hang them to dry and I don't rub my butt crack all over it.

I'll reuse a water glass for a while. Every few days it will get a washing. Normally when DH takes it and shoves it int he dishwasher (followed by me going "but I was using that!") but sometimes just when I catch my cat on the table it was on, because I don't need to be drinking cat had or litter.

I'll reuse a hot tea or coffee cup. I won't do it if it has the dried ring at the bottom, but if I happen to rinse it before it gets crusty then I'll rinse it and reuse later.

Also when it comes to pasta pots, veggie pots or strainers I have no problem just rinsing them and not washing the every time. Unless there is a sauce or seasoning used, there is no point.

I sit on the public toilets. They are the cleanest part of the bathrooms most of the time. The problem comes when people get something on their hands and then touch the flush handle (or use their dirty shoe to put germs on it) then touch the door lock, the sink, the soap, paper towels, door handle...

I'll re-wear clothes. If it doesn't smell or I didn't spill anything on it then it is fair game. I can only do laundry every two-three weeks at the moment though so if I didn't live with that rule then I would run out of clothes really quick. Undies and socks get tossed in the laundry basket after one wear but everything else it up for debate.

today is Wednesday, so it marks the 3rd day in a row that i am wearing the same work outfit. i am in sales so i rarely see the same people in the same week, so i often recycle work clothes 2, 3 days in a row pregnant or not. no shame here!

Theres not a royal thrown I wont sit on. When I gotta go, I gotta go. But always wash my hands afterwards.

Also will go weeks without washing my towels. Its just clean water right?

I refuse to drink tap water, but have filtered water next to my bed stand for longer than I care to share...

And, I spilled a full container of tic tacs in the bottom of my purse about 2 weeks ago and instead of digging them out I just feel around for one or two at the bottom every time I want one.

Ok I need to share what my male coworker does and I want to vomit each and every time I witness this.

He literally picks his eyebrows out and after he's done checking out each piece of hair he's plucked-----he eats it. I've witnessed this every single day for the past year. I can't bring myself to say anything to him. Gross!!!

I had no idea toilet seat covers weren't everywhere. I use one every time. The thought of touching a public toilet seat makes my skin crawl, even though I know they're clean. I have issues.

You would think so. I can't bring myself to acknowledge it I have to pretend nothing is going on or leave the office. It's so nasty!!!

This is actually a mental condition and it has been featured on lots of shows on TLC, lol. I always misspell it but I know someone IRL who does it, too.

I LOVE THIS THREAD!!!

I pick at everything when I am bored. This includes acne, the skin around my nails, fingernail polish, etc.
I have to smell a lot of things. I even smell my shoes on a regular basis...just to make sure they don't stink.
I will rewear clothes several times. I have 3 piles of clothes going. The first is really clean clothes, the second are clothes I have worn, but can get away with wearing again, and the third is dirty clothes you just can't wear twice like underwear and socks.
I spit in the shower. Normally wouldn't be that bad, but lately I have a lot of sinus buildup, so it is gross.
I also have a spit cup in my car. It get thrown away everyday after I spit in it, but I just cant seem to get all of the nastiness out of my throat in the morning, and the trip to work seems to be when a lot of it starts to break up and work its way out.

Sadly, this list could go on and on.

Trichotillomania. I think the part where they have the compulsion to eat it is much weirder than the compulsion to pull it out.

Isn't it called Pica when they eat non-edible objects (I would classify hair as something that is not edible)?

I will ditto most of what everyone else has said:
-I sit bare butt on public toilet seats
-I pop DH's zits
-I re wear clothes multiple times, except underwear and socks. I have no idea the last time was I washed my bras
-I smell my fingers
-I pick my nose
-I man scape DH: keep his eyebrows under control with waxing/tweezing, shave his neck and never hesitate to tell him when his nose hairs are getting out of control. I bought him a nose hair trimmer because nose hairs drive me bonkers!. I am 10 inches shorter than him so I can see up his nose quite a bit
