We are at two now, but will be transitioning to three soon after she turns eight months next week (we started with one meal at six and added one each month).

We are at 3 a day, but she has decided since she can feed herself she certainly doesn't want me feeding her purées it oatmeal, just wants whatever we are eating.....
LO doubled her solid intake over the last few days. She's eating twice as much at breakfast and dinner, so we're about to add lunch. I'm so happy she'll eat something that isn't my boob...but I'm still the only one feeding her. Think I need to talk to DH :-w
I send something to daycare and anytime we're eating and he's around, he wants something. So during the week it's usually 2 times, but more on the weekend. It's not very much at a time though.
But seriously anytime he sees food, he wants it. Yesterday he eyed his sister's turkey on a plate on the couch, pulled up and was working on cruising over to it with a huge smile on his face when she noticed.
2 on weekdays, breakfast and lunch at daycare and usually once on the weekend. He nurses more with me around, so he isn't very interested in solid food.
on days i'm working, he only takes like 12 oz of milk (in 10 hours, that can't be good!). on days i'm off, he cluster feeds. Some days he'll eat 4 bites of cereal, some days he'll look at me like i'm crazy and have none. A sliver of fruit usually gets chewed on. The recalled Plum Organics pouches he takes one squeeze of and then says no more. Our dinner, he wants multiple "bites" of... sometimes. Should he be regular by now? :-P
@fklang, i thought of you last night because we went to pf changs, and i thought that was the place that had the dessert you told me about. alas, i didn't get it - our party had cake. maybe next time! just realized fk langs and pf changs rhyme.
We were up to 3 meals a day plus intermittent puffs and yogis before this week's infection. (

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
Won't let me edit - he was getting somewhere between 7-10oz total of purées each day. Still not a fan of chunky purées or most non-purée foods.

Usually a piece of fruit for breakfast, some cereals or bread for lunch and a warm dinner with mean and veggies! Plus 2 snacks, one between breakfast and lunch and one between lunch and dinner. These are biscuits, rice crackers or more fruit.

3 of his own (cereal and fruit for breakfast and lunch added with Cheerios and puffs) and a big dinner of a protein/veg/carb. Then he nibbles on my dinner too.

@2012ames It's probably a good thing that you didn't try it. They're addictive . I usually get chicken lettuce wraps and the banana spring rolls.
Oh and meals are anything other than boob or Pepsi!
We just upped our purées to two a day and a snack of mum mums. He barely eats 3 oz of solids a day total. I'd like to get him on a breakfast, lunch, and dinner schedule soon. So far he has had only cereals, fruits, and veggies...I'm terrified to add meat. I heard the poop rumors after meat....

It's easy to put him in his high chair and give him some food so I can make myself something during those 3 times.
define meal :-P
