Not sure if you've ever heard of this blog - www.camppatton.com - but the author, Grace, is now pregnant with her 4th but was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer when she was around 20 weeks with her first. She did several posts about it if you just do a search. I know she has mentioned several times how it ended up being much less scary then it sounded, though I don't know how her stage compares to yours, etc. May be worth a read either way and it helps that she is super entertaining.
No experience, but wishing you well and speedy recovery. One of my friends had her thyroid removed due to cancer (she was in her early 20's) and two of my mother's friends had their removed as well and are all doing fine now. I have a thyroid condition where I need to take a synthetic thyroid hormone pill every morning -- they just monitor my levels every 6 - 8 weeks since pregnancy can make things change.
I am so sorry about your diagnosis. I was diagnosed with T-Cell Actue Lymphoblastic leukemia a couple of weeks ago. Trying to have a baby and fight cancer is not easy! I hope you find the support and strength you need to get through this. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to talk more.
No personal experience, and while it's not the same, one of my best friends had her gallbladder removed while pregnant, under general anesthesia, and everything turned out fine. Good luck to you, I'll keep you and your LO in my prayers.
Just want to send prayers and lots of positive vibes your way. Prayerfully everything will go perfectly and you and LO will remain happy and healthy at the end.

No experience, but I know several people who have had their thyroid removed successfully. can only imagine how scary that must be to undergo during pregnancy. Wishing you lots of strength and courage. Thoughts and prayers to you.
I'm so sorry to hear this! I can only imagine how scary this is. While I don't have any personal experience, I work on a surgical unit. I have had many patients who have had surgery during all three semesters. All of the mommies and babies have come out happy and healthy. While I don't know all of the specifics on the oncology side, I do know the procedure is pretty simple relatively speaking and you shouldn't have that rough of a recovery. Granted everyone is different, but hopefully that will give you a little piece of mind for the time being. I'll keep you in my prayers, good luck!
