@jsgrl613, I just listened to Saves The Day on the way to work. I literally never get tired of the Stay What You Are album. 13 years and counting.
I love that album. It reminds me of this guy I knew in college, who I coincidentally had a dream about last night, and it was a good dream, but then my husband woke me up right before it got really good. The dude hated Saves the Day because he was seriously into hardcore, but he was hot, so whatever.
Well, this thread has succeeded in making me feel old. I'm also ignoring your rule of one :-)
Bone Thugs N Harmony: Crossroads
La Bouche: Be My Lover
Engima: Return to Innocence
The Cure: High, A Letter to Elise (basically the whole damn Wish album, even though it came out the year before I started high school)
General Public: I'll Take You There
And so many more! I see all the basics were covered with Alanis, Jewel, etc.. I love me some high school nostalgia!
I think rollerskates just appeared on my feet when I read that one.
Shit, I never took mine off. I lived at the rink in high school. Or the dance club. Not much else to do during Chicago winters that my parents would have agreed to. ;-)
I can't do Lightening Crashes now that I'm a mother, but I will add the others.
Did NOT even think of that. Yikes. Not sure I can now, either.
can I ask why? Isn't the song about the circle of life? an older woman dying and the life being "transferred" to a newborn baby.
@banich4eva - it may be. But perhaps read the lyrics again. It's pretty unsettling as a mother.
Right-- the thought of a horrible birthing experience, plus death of another, plus I don't believe in life transferring from one person to another. However, I did add some Live on the playlist, because I like them in general!

Re: Help me build a new spotify playlist
Like really.
I promise not to show up in your bushes. I'm really new to spotify so I don't know how to find/share things.
