Well... I knew FET was way less complicated than a fresh cycle... but I didn't realize how soon we could do this. My OB said we should wait for 3 cycles to go by (which could have been a year from now), but they said ultimately it was up to my RE. And my RE (who is close with my OB) said 3 cycles was totally unnecessary. Thank. God.
We are looking at a FET in April (the earliest we can do it, at my OB's preferences) or the latest, May. They drew blood today and I get the results tomorrow, which should tell us when we can start. I am terrified. But I keep thinking that I need to go back and get these little embryos that are like Conner and Benjamin's other "twins." Conner and Ben were also due in May, but the c-section would have been at the end of April. I think an FET will help me get through what should have been their birthdays. We are transferring only one this time, to lessen the risks of anything and everything (our OB, MFM, and RE all agreed on this as well). If it does not take, we are thinking of transferring two again the next cycle. I am a mess. I want my Conner and my Benjamin. But that was not an option for me. I am a mother, thanks to Conner and Ben. But I have the overwhelming urge to parent a child. I am hoping this works... I can't lost another baby. I've already lost two.
I think this may have been the messiest writing I have ever done but my brain is just a mess right now.
