DD has the flu

I posted yesterday about when you'd take your LO to the doctor.  Well, DD woke up last night at around 1 am, said she as dizzy then when I left her room to get a thermometer she threw up.  I checked her temp & it was 103.9.  I took her to her pedi this morning & she tested positive for Flu A.  She had the flu vaccine both this year & last year & has ended up with flu both years, ugh.  She is on Tamiflu since it was less that 48 hours from the onset of her fever.  I hope it works quickly & I don't catch it!  

She is sad she has to miss school tomorrow.  It's Wacky Wednesday where they could dress in mismatched clothes or pi's & she's bee looking forward to it for weeks.  I told her we'd have Wacky Wednesday tomorrow & I'd dress wacky with her.  That seemed to make it a bit better.
