We've done oatmeal, pears, peas, squash & bananas. I've got peaches & green beans in the freezer to intro next (separately). LLLI recommends introducing meat as a first food. Anyone tried any meat yet? I'm obsessed with my beaba baby cook!!
My pedi said to do stage 1 foods first. I don't see why they would need meat if "food under 1 is just for fun" :-/
DS is 5m old. We are doing oatmeal in the am and veggies at night. So far he's tried green beans, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes and yesterday he had bananas.
yeah, I have to draw the line somewhere. I will not be doing meat. I have bought a couple of pouches with meat that were on sale. So, we will do the pouches when it comes to meat. And move quickly to regular meat.
I didn't make it a purée, but did avocado, as well, he LOVED it. Made a total mess, but what fun!
How did you not-purée the avacado? I want to avoid purees. How did you do it?
Butting in: I just smash it a little with my fork and then put it in her mouth. She chews it a little. I've given her avocado several times and she seems to like it. It's soft enough that she won't choke as long as it's appropriately sized.
