Baby Levi is here! (sebullows)

What a day :) we headed to the hospital for my induction at 5 this morning after making sure there was a room for us. They broke my water and began the pitocin at 7. Even though I was far enough along for the epidural they wanted me to take a whole bag of fluids first. The pain kicked in pretty quickly and I got my epidural after an hour of heavy contractions. Unfortunately my epidural did not work and things got really real from there. I was ready to start pushing at 11:30. As many of you may know we were told the baby could be too big for me, but I decided against a csection and wanted to try on my own. After 50 minutes of pushing we knew he just wasn't going to fit due to my small frame, so I was prepped for an emergency c section. I cried with happiness after all that pain! Was so ready to get him out. The c section went beautifully and he screamed coming out which was the most beautiful sound in the world. I didn't get to hold him and I only got to see him for a few minutes since he had a lot of meconium in my uterus. I am now in post partum, still hooked up on pitocin and feeling some contractions but I'm not complaining because I have the most beautiful baby to stare at.
He latched on after 2 tries but I don't think I have much to give him yet. BF is amazing.

Here is Levi Roland. He is doing really well and is very healthy so far. He's 8lb12oz (a lot smaller than we thought), 23 inches long. Born at 1:25pm. I was 39 weeks and 1 day.

Sorry the pics are sideways. I'm mobile and dk how to change that.
