A/S Week of 3/3

Since we're getting down to us end of the month mommas, we thought a thread for the week may work well! So post when your A/S is this week and then let us know how things go. I've also seen some ladies post that they're going for a second attempt this week - T & Ps for healthy and cooperative babies all around!

Our A/S is today at 2:00! We are then going out to dinner with family and my BFF to share boy/girl news - this is the first grandbaby on either side and our parents are beside themselves! We have a wintry mix in the forecast, so I'll be totally bummed if that shuts down NC like it's been known to do.

Ours is this morning at 9:15 and it's our second attempt. I've been dreaming all night about it and now I can't go back to sleep! Wishing everyone luck this week and healthy, cooperative babies!

Today at 3! Then meet with the doctor at 345. We are having dinner without parents and siblings to share the news. I hope I can focus on anything at school today. Here's to healthy, cooperative babies !!!

9:15 this morning! We have already been told that we are having a girl, but of course my crazy self is saying, "but what if she isn't anymore?!?" So nerve racking, but even more so excited to make sure she is perfectly healthy. Woke up at 5:30 and haven't been able to go back to sleep. So glad I don't have to wait until this afternoon! We will get to meet with the dr right afterwards to go over results.

We had an early a/s at 17 weeks due to high risk pregnancy, but our official a/s is today at 2:00pm. I am so excited since the last time DH saw LO, he or she looked more like a little blob at 8 weeks.

Today at 9:30! I can't wait to finally see the baby, I feel like I've been waiting forever. Won't know news of boy or girl until Friday night, when we are finding out with our Families there (which is also going to seem like forever to wait!) Good luck ladies!!

ours is thursday at 12:30 but we then have to wait three days for the doctors office to call with the results.. unless the tech accidentally slips up

can't wait till see our little one again so excited this week can not go by fast enough. good luck to everyone with there ultrasounds hope everyone has healthy cooperative babies!

Just had my scan. Tech said that everything looks good as far as she can tell. Yay!
And we still have a girl.

No surprises, thank goodness!

ETA: dr confirmed that baby girl is right on track and looks perfectly healthy

We just had ours! We have a healthy baby! Thank goodness! Waiting for my husband to Skype me so we can find out the sex! T&Ps for healthy babies!

We had our second scan this morning since the first ine 2 weeks ago was with an uncooperative baby. The Tech thought we wouldn't get the measurements again this time because it was still all curled up! Finally last minute she got all the measurements she needed and we found out we're having a girl!! So excited to meet our little Gemma Starling!

Just got back from mine. Baby girl is healthy, everything looks normal, and my placenta has moved up! Everything was perfect.

3 more hours.

I feel like a little kid, I am so excited to find out what we are having. Not too thrilled about not being able to use the bathroom for 2 hours. (I can barely go an hour) but it is so exciting. I bought a dress and pink converse yesterday for a dollar each. I couldn't pass it up. I've been thinking the baby is a girl all along. I won't by any means be disappointed if its a boy though. So if there is a Weiner in there, he will probably flaunt it like crazy and be like " mom, stop calling me a she!" Haha

We had ours today! We are Team Boy! But the ultrasound tech said she couldn't tell us anything (healthy or otherwise). So we have to wait two weeks till our regular OB appointment to find out if he is healthy or not. Is that normal? I'm very excited to find out the sex but stressed that she couldn't even tell us if things looked normal!!

Yes that is normal. Its like when you break your ankle. The person who took the pic may know for sure it is broken but they can't tell you anything. Only your doctor will be able to tell you the final results. I had a breast cancer scare a year ago. They gave me an ultrasound but the tech was not allowed to tell me anything. They can only take pictures and send it on. It was stressful but everything was OK in the end.

My scan is tomorrow morning (10:30) and I'm scared of this exact same thing. We did elective at 15w and they said girl (the pictures are clear, on the DVD you can see it and everything) but I'm terrified (because we've done shopping/decorating) that she has become a he in the last 5 weeks!!

It's a girl! Everything looks great. I have a low placenta but they are going to keep an eye on it. Waiting to meet with the doctor now!

Good luck to the mom's who still have appointments coming up and congratulations to those who replied that they had theirs and things are healthy. I also had my AS today and already felt good with my healthy blood cell testing results a few weeks back, and the news I'm having a girl. All went well, but she would not get in a good position to take the needed heart pics, so I need to go back in two weeks. Everything else looked good, thankfully. I am happy to be measuring in accordance with my due date. <:-P

Tuesday at 6pm. I haven't been thinking about it too too much but reading this thread it's hitting me! We were Team Green last time and I think we're going to ask to know the sex tomorrow if baby cooperates. Just getting nervous now that everything's ok. WIth this pregnancy I've been so laidback and haven't let myself get too worried, but now it's getting real. Good luck to everyone this week!

Mine was earlier this morning. DH and I braved the snow storm to see our sweet baby, GIRL!!!! YAY! I always pictured myself with boys, so I'm shocked at how excited I am.
Dr. Says she is a."pretty" baby and everything appears healthy.

My A/S was today. We are having a BOY!! (This will be my second DS) The doctor said that everything looked perfect and that the baby is measuring a week ahead and that he'd be surprised if I make it to my due date (July 19th). Little guy was moving around during the whole appointment so it made it difficult to get good images, but I loved seeing him so active! I hope everyone else this week has good experiences!

I'm so excited to see everyone's fabulous news! We also had a wonderful A/S this afternoon. Baby is perfect and healthy and right on track growth-wise, and a GIRL!! We've both been thinking boy all along, so we were pretty surprised, but it's the best surprise ever!

I was in the ultrasound room for almost 2 hours. We will be team green unless I get another ultrasound. One tech said a boy while another came and said a girl. My baby would not sit still long enough. Maybe my Dr will do an in office one later. So yay! I am having a baby!

That is what I am having to do. Although, my OB said he would call if anything was abnormal. I haven't heard from him and my next appointment is Friday (a/s was 2/21).

Those were my thoughts. We have done a TON of shopping and painted the nursery this weekend (due to the fact that we are getting new carpet tomorrow.) I was afraid that I had jinxed myself even though it was very clear on the two ultrasounds I had prior at which I was told girl. The painting just seemed like a deal breaker to me.

Will have a follow up scan tomorrow to check my sch, hoping baby b will cooperate so we can find out the sex!

Not sure when they will redo all the measurements that they couldn't get last week. I really wish I could get that clean bill if health on them
