DH's birthday is on Monday. I have NO CLUE what to get him. He said he doesn't really want anything but we all know how that goes. He's not your average watch, tie, tech guy. Any suggestions?
Not a sports fan... no everything that @ago suggested (other than the date night).
He is a diesel mechanic/foreman. He likes to hunt. I thought about getting him a new BBQ pit or something but IDK. He wants a new gun but I don't know where to start and the ones he wants are like 2,500. Seriously hate shopping for him....
Toooooo hard to make suggestions for a man I don't know :P Shopping for stranger men is a lot harder, I think.
Mine is ALL about music and would love a bunch of CD's. Or an iTunes GC because that's where he buys his movies. Or a bunch of film for his camera. Stuff like that. But I know not all men are into that stuff.
He doesn't really drink hard liquor. Maybe a beer now and then but that's it. I feel bad shooting down all of your suggestions! I'm sorry please blame it on my PITA husband
I hate it too! 1) Things he likes are pricey (tech guy) 2) Even if I were to get said gadget I would not know which is the best to buy.
My dad is into hunting so I can give suggestions based on what we have given him over the years, binoculars, snow shoes (not sure if you are in a snowy area ), rifle scope, hunting gear link a nice jacket, pants, boots (stuff he would not normally get himself, subscription to a hunting magazine. Is in to fishing? We have gotten my dad fishing stuff as well. My dad also loves tools and I like buying him the latest new gadgets when they come out, also bought him a nice tool box. SO my dad is obviously easier to shop for LOL. My dad is also a diesel mechanic!
Just thought of another idea, survival kit. You can get them at hunting stores. And then a mini gas stove to go along with it, they fit in your pocket and your buy these small gas cannisters to go with them. The leaders in my sons scout group who are into outdoors and hunting rave about them, DS also has one his grandfather gave him (he is more into the outdoors than his dad, lol)
I know he also wants to put in a storage shed in our back yard. Thought of ordering one but then again i'm afraid i will get the wrong one or something.
The hunting fishing gear is a great idea. I also like the BBQ pit basket!
Seriously? But you can basically get ANYTHING on there. Gosh, most people I know would love one!
JackoftheBox really is married to my dad because he would not use an Amazon gift card either. LOL. That would involve sitting at a computer and on line shopping.

DH's is required to give me some ideas or he gets nothing.
He wanted a wallet, so I got him a wallet. Nothing fancy - the man really didn't want leather, and finding a tri-fold non-leather wallet is a non-trivial task in itself.

Your H sounds like my H and he's way hard to buy for. You say he likes hunting and BBQing - does he make his own sausage or hamburger patties? I got my H a hamburger patty press for Christmas and he loves it. I also got him a camera adapter for his hunting scope. It lets him attached his digital camera to his scope so that he can take pictures of animals while he's scouting. He really liked that too. I got both on Cabela's website.

I gave my husband $212 in rolled change for his birthday. If he's going to make it difficult for me to figure out what to get him, I will make getting a gift just as difficult. He couldn't say that he couldn't use it.
Re: DH's Birthday Gift
Ugh. Hate shopping for my husband. For Christmas I got him a Sephora men's cologne sampler - that was a hit.
iTunes gift card? Kindle/eReader gift card? Nice date night?

Shopping for men is the worst.
Is he into sports at all? I am not a sports fan myself, but I do like going to games. Maybe a ticket to a baseball/ basketball/ hockey game?

Although nine times out of ten, I get him something he doesn't know exists but I'm pretty sure he'll love. I'm not always right.
