Up until now there's been a relatively decent chance that DH would be home in time for the birth.
Well, not anymore. It looks like there's now a 99.9% chance he will miss it. Unless we get some stroke of insane luck and military grace shining down on us. (not likely)
Has anyone ever applied for operation special delivery before? What has been your experience with it? Good? Bad? Worth it?

My DH is on deployment and will be on deployment when I deliver in July but the AFB im delivering at sets up skype so the dads can see everything. I hear the OSD is pretty nice when theres a doula in the area.
