I have my glucose screening and rhogam shot at 3:30. Not excited for it, but ready to talk to the doctor about some weird pains that I've been having. I hate having pain and not knowing if it's totally normal or something I should be more concerned about.
Regular monthly checkup today. BP is good, all seems well. I'm measuring bigger than I should, but this is the first measurement they've taken (25w) and so they'll just keep an eye on it from here. I've always carried my weight/fat in my tummy, so I'm not worrying about it until they start to.
I mentioned my itchy feet though and that caught her attention. My midwife wants me to test for cholestasis. Fingers crossed it's just itchy feet.
@cdk211 - praying for your son. Please keep us updated.
Regular appointment today. Everything went pretty well. I asked about my BH because I seem to be having them so frequently. Doc said it's normal to experience them sooner and more frequently with your second child however I shouldn't be having them as much as I am. My cervix looks good and I have no other signs of preterm labor. She said if I have more than 5 in an hour to stop what I'm doing, put my feet up and drink a big glass of water. If they don't stop to call and we'll go from there.
Other than that everything looks good. Baby kept kicking the Doppler which was pretty funny. Next appointment is the glucose test.
My appointment was long and pretty uneventful. I got my shot in my butt and a bunch of blood taken. Now, I going to claim it was super difficult so I can rest on the couch all night without judgement from DH.
Thinking of you @CDK211 and @Read247.
Had to do my 3 hour glucose test today, which was more like 4 hours. Failed my 1 hour. Of course im super paranoid but I got a lot of feedback from friends saying they also had to do the 3 hour after failing the 1 hour and none of them ended up with GD. Hoping for the best. Also really glad My hubby got me a laptop recently so I had something to do for 4 hours while being poked and proded.
