Luke Ivar made it! (Kathegreat's birth announcement)

Luke Ivar born March 1st at 12:12am (missed his due date by 12 minutes!) 5lbs 15ozs 19.5 inches long.

My water broke at 4pm Friday so we got packed up and headed to the hospital around 6. Contractions never got started despite the walking I did to try and get them going. My doctor started pitocin at 10pm and holy ow that was intense! I labored for an hour just in my room and then because they had trouble tracing him reliably anyway because he was so low they let me get in the shower the shower was magic and made contractions bearable, I went from 5cm to complete in about 20 minutes then pushed about 5 contractions and Bam he was here! I managed without an epi which was a miracle and I can't believe I made it through the whole process!

I might be a little obsessed with him but here are some cute pictures:
