We have thrown around a bunch of names but nothing set in stone. We may wait until we find out if its a boy or girl before we get serious.

  • Nothing is set in stone, but leaning towards Kirsten or Camden.

  • DH and I were just laying in bed discussing this!! We are in agreement on some. I love Hannah for a girl and he likes Harley. For boys we like David or Logan. I am sure we will be adding lots to the list over time!
  • We love Leah and Derek. It's the only names I can get DH is agree on.

  • Yes! We will not find out gender this time, but we know that it will be Charlotte (Charlie) for a girl and Finnian (Finn) for a boy!
  • We'll wait until we know the sex for serious discussions, but I preliminarily like Nathan or Drew for a boy (but can't use Drew bc it's my cousin's name), and Brett, Rosalind, Marion, or Willa for a girl (but can't use Willa bc last name also starts with "Wil.").

@ebwhit I love "Lou" for a girl and have considered Louisa bc if it.

That's exactly what we would call her! I love Lou for a girl, it's so sweet

  • So far we love Gabrielle, Nadia or Mila for a girl (middle name regardless will be Rose after his grandma who passed recently) and for boys we like Jacob, Andrew or Elijah (Middle name will probable be Alexander unless we choose first name of Andrew then middle name will be Jacob. It's gonna be a struggle cuz hubby pretty much Hates all names I love & vice versa.

  • No idea for a girl. My DD didn't have a name until the day we left the hospital! We do not agree on girl's names.

For a boy I am 90% sure it will be Adam. It's DH's middle name and we both like/agree on it.

Ladies, we almost named our daughter Lou-Lou because I just loved the idea of having a little "Lou" ! We went with Lulla instead & her nicknames are "Lou" & "lulu". So fun!
  • We are thinking Ace for a boy & Iva for a girl. We haven't even thought about middle names yet.
Our two older kiddos are Jett & Lulla & we think both of these names would blend & fit in nicely!
  • For a girl we like Paisley and Davey. And I've always liked Penelope.

We're really not sure for a boy!
our family consists of myself, my wonderful husband and my 3 sweet step-kiddos.
    and this little girl!

  • I really hope we have another girl bc I love the name Torah or Stormy (after my grandmother) my husband hated the name stormy though! I also like Keely. For boys.... ehhhh lol. I like Gage, or Jacob, but my husband likes all the plain, boring names in my opinion!!
  • Our names have been picked since December. We chose the first name James (for either sex) after my late father. James Paris (my grandfather's mn) for a girl, with a nickname of Jamey. James Vincent (DH's stepdad's mn) for a boy.

We are just crazy early. I know.

We won't seriously discuss it until we know what we're having...DH will barely even discuss it now! He wants to wait until we know. He was the same with dd2 but had dd1s name picked out boy or girl before first tri was even over!

If it's a girl, there's a good chance it'll be Julia. We were soooo close to naming dd2 that.

For a boy...it will be hard. Dd1 would have been Zachary. We still both love the name, but DH's cousin use it.
Dd2 could have been Maxim. It's a family name and I love it, but when it really comes down to naming our child that....well, the damn magazine has ruined it :( so I don't know.
We've also thrown around the idea of Joshua after DH's childhood best friend who passed away 11 years ago.

ETA to add paragraphs. Why do paragraphs disappear when I use my iPad??

  • For a girl, I love Ava Gabrielle. For a boy, I love Xavier or Christian. Hubby wants to wait until we know the sex to contribute names. I've kind of had these names picked out since like high school, lol.
  • We have been talking about names since we got married four years ago. LOL Here are the picks:

    Boy- Kyson Anthony, Austin Michael

    Girl- Addison Marie, Karleigh Marie

We decided that we won't pick until we see the baby. :)

  • We have at least six of each, like a abbyful said, mostly leftover from naming Paul. Girls: Lilah, Caroline, Charlotte, Cecelia, Susanna, Annelise Boys: Noah, Abraham, Samuel, Luke, Benjamin https://www.babynames.com/namelist/9517624

  • Girls: Violet, Georgia, Molly, Cora.
Boys: Garrett, Graham, Milo. If my DD was a boy she was going to be Crew, I still kind of like it, but I don't think it is our #1 anymore.
  • Abigail Rae or Caleb Christopher. Names picked out for twins if there's 2 (they run very strong in my mans family): Cameron Austin and Hailey Elizabeth

For a girl, we know for sure it will be Annalise Elizabeth.  (Is it weird to give a daughter your middle name?  Too bad if it, I'm starting a trend!!!  ;;) ).  Boys names have been a bit tougher.  I think we are learning towards Charles/Charlie but not sure yet.  I like the names Colin, Hunter and Lucas but DH does not.  Also like Alexander, but we have a bunch of friends with that name so would that be weird?  Maybe not.  We will have to do some more research if it's a boy!

ETA:  My wording was awkward above- I meant give a daughter my name for her middle name, as is common with fathers/sons.

  • We haven't really talked about it yet . Whatever we decide it will be an Irish name with Thomas for boy MN and Mae for girl MN.

Leftover contenders from DS(Caelan) are Graeme for boy and Kennedy for girl.

  • DH is stuck on Leia  or Luke (yes, Star Wars fan....not me) I don't mind either name to be honest, I prefer: Penelope, Fiona, Lily, type names for girls.
  • If its a boy, Brooks.

If its a girl, we like Lydia, Gabriella, and Ariana

  • We have very strong contenders for girls names - Claire Elizabeth or Elizabeth ???  (If we go with Elizabeth for the first name, we'll call her Ellie).

Boy names are a lot harder for us.  I like Deacon, Adam, and Emmett.  DH says they are all "OK" but there aren't any names where we're both like, "YES!  That is it!".  No clue about middle name for a boy.  Possibly Joseph or Joshua (his grandfather and my nephew, both of whom have passed away).

We have a list of about five girl names and ten boy names. We'll narrow it down to two or three of each and once we meet our little one, we'll make the decision.
    Anniversary Pregnancy Ticker
  • I like Quinn Marie for a girl and Braxton Hunter for a boy. We would call him Hunter - DH wants a Jr.
  • For a boy we like Joshua or Samuel (Josh and Sam) and for a girl we like Amelia and Sarah. We don't plan to tell people our names because we don't want to hear their feedback. We like what we like :-)

  • Girl would definately be Aurora James and Rory for short! My brother my dad and my husbands dad all are named James! Struggling with the boy names though!
  • @lizgrace03 - I have my mothers middle name, so I think that's totally fine!!

We have known our two girls names forever. They are both family names for grandmothers/great grandmothers, one from each side. Adelaide Catherine or Ruby Joann.

We can't agree on a boys name to save our lives! So far the only contenders are Oliver or Gabriel.

We don't really like many contemporary names. I was named something really popular and know so many people with my name, so we are trying to go with something from an older generation but could still have a young sounding nickname. So much pressure!!

    Love Oliver! Seriously so cute.
  • We always pick a boys name and a girls name in the first half of the pregnancy, and then when we find out the sex at the anatomy scan, we're all set. Since we haven't used the boys name in a while, I think we're sticking with John (which is DH's name). I've started thinking about girls names, but I haven't found one that I love yet.
  • We're thinking Amelia Ann for a girl and James Everett for a boy. Both middle names are family names.

  • For boys: Silas or Luke

    For Girls: Junia or Lydia
  • Gerald Patrick if it's a boy.  It would be after my husbands grandfather.  We have no names for girls yet.  Still brainstorming =)
