Rarely by myself. Mine is 8 weeks but I have 2, and it is such a pain in the ass leaving with both alone, especially when its so cold out. Once it gets warmer, we'll be out all the time.
LO is 6 weeks old. We usually go out to run errands a few times a week or meet DH on his lunch break. Otherwise I would get crazy cabin fever. I live in NC so it's not terribly cold.
Married June 2010. DD born 1/13 via Csection at 41w5d after 47 hours of labor
I'm with the pp's who said 2u2 are really difficult to get out with. We usually don't go out alone because the only thing close is Walmart, everything else is 40-45 minutes away. I get nervous with the travel time that someone is gonna freak out in the car. Plus its freezing! I'm considering taking them to the mall today because I need to buy my sister a birthday present and I'm losing my mind being in the house, but we'll see if it happens!
Grocery store, target, visiting friends/family, dinner out...I hate feeling cooped up with these frigid temps we have. Everyone gets bundled up and layered and we make do because this momma needs fresh air.
Eta: LO is 7 weeks and we've been out and about since we came home. My mom drove us the first week and we stayed home the second until I felt I could drive post c/s at 2 weeks
We go out almost every day to the mall to walk. That means 2 car seats into the car, 2 seats onto the double stroller and all the shit that goes with it! It's totally worth it, and feel like when the weather is nicer, putting them in the stroller (with just stroller seats) will be a freaking breeze
I put rarely, because I have left the house with the baby only a handful of times. I'm living in Germany and don't speak much German as of yet, so I'm scared to go into town without help. Seeing as my husband works all day 6 days a week, and nothing is open on Sundays, that means in the 4 weeks of his life my baby has never been anywhere except the house and the doctors office.
We go out almost every day. My husband works from home and with no office space he works in our tiny living room and I am confined upstairs with DD. We've had pretty decent weather for the last 2 weeks, so at the very least I go for a walk with her at a park close by. Often we go to the mall or Target sometimes just to walk around. I have to get out of the house or else I would go nucking futs. Never mind that I told him we would need a bigger place when I got pregnant and now he's like well shit this sucks. Ummmm yeah. Yeah it does.
Same! Hubby works from home, but that was a very recent occurrence. It's super difficult to not annoy the crap out of him and/or be ticked-off that he can't help me out during the day. We are moving in 2 months and he is already impatiently dreaming about a child-free basement office.
DS is 7 weeks and I have only left the house 3 times with him. Two of those which were to see the pedi and the other time was to go out to lunch. Its freaken freezing here and I live in a city, so don't want to be walking around with him outside and chance him getting sick. I am starting to go crazy though, and NEED to start getting out of the house. I feel like I can't even function in society anymore and I'm scared to go back to work in 4 weeks and be a weirdo!
Only once or twice a week. If it were warmer we might go out more often, but I'm still really worried about flu season which is really bad in my state this year. Can't wait for his 2 month vaccinations! DH and I want to plan a weekend trip with him.
Mama of boys, Landon (Jan 14) and Harrison (Aug 15).
LO is 5 weeks. We venture out about 2-3 times per week to go on errands, visit friends, and go to church. I can't wait for spring so we can go on walks and won't have to worry about sub-zero temps.
LO is 8.5 weeks. I would say that I bring her out on my own (to the grocery store, target, etc) once a week and once or twice a week with DH. She doesn't like her car seat and I am paranoid about germs, so that's about all I can handle at this point

Abel is 6 weeks. I take him with me everyday to pick up X from daycare. For my own sanity I also try to get out of the house once a day, either for an errand (grocery store, Target) or for a walk. There's no one else to watch him so where I go, he goes.
I guess I'm a crazy germ exposing mama! DS is almost 8w and we go out 6-7 days a week. We do the grocery store and target weekly, visit friends and families houses, go on walks to the park, eat out, and he's even been to the zoo twice. I feel like if he's in the Moby or in the stroller covered up then he's fine. I'm sure DD brings home more germs from preschool than he could possibly catch from being carried through a store!
This. Except for the park thing. It's too cold to go to the park. DD is 4 weeks old and we leave to house at least 4-5 times a week. mainly to pick DS up from school. I also get stir crazy if I stay home so I tend to make trips to target just to get out of the house. Dd stays in her car seat so no one messes with her.
DS is 4 months actual/1 month adjusted. We rarely take him out because of doctors orders but we've taken him a few places when we've had no other choice.
About every other day or so. I take him to the mall to walk or outside if it's warm enough. I do enjoy days though where we don't leave the house. I like to find a nice balance.
He's 4 weeks and I try to take him out a couple times a week. Mostly only because DD is 23 months and she needs to get out to socialize. When she was his age I would probably say never or once. I just didn't have he energy. I still don't this time that's why it's only once or twice a week and not more.
