NTTCR: my sister got married yesterday

Well it was such a wonderful day. She was absolutely beautiful and everything went smoothly. Now I just have to get through my brothers wedding in May and we are done with weddings for a while. @on42 I thought of you and your upcoming wedding while we were partying. I hope your day is as great as this was.

Well here is a "selfie" that my 17 year old took of us.

    Glad you had fun and damn Hooligans... your one hot lady!! You two look beautiful!!

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    No if we were young.. err younger and single we would be crashing @on42 wedding!!! <:-P

    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    Wedding crashing at on42's wedding, I'm in too!!

    **** siggy warning - bfp & loss ****   ---- All Welcome ---

    Me: 44 - Hashimoto's (under control), DH: 38 - (minor issues)

    IUIs: 2 in 2012 ... Both BFN
    IVF #1: 10/16/13 ... BFP, however it was not viable and ended in an early loss at 7weeks.
    IVF #2: Feb '14 ... Cancelled. Positive beta at baseline appt, became very early loss.
    IVF #2: Apr '    14 ... Retrieval Only. 2 embryos made it to day 3 freeze & will be batched with IVF #3 for PGD testing.
    IVF #3: June '14     ...     Retrieval Only. 4 embryos growing, all arrested before day 5. Two from April thawed, but also arrested.
    Currently benched while determining how to proceed.

    Everyone at the wedding was saying the same thing.  It made me feel soooo good.  
    One more in our wedding crashing party...look out @on42 us bumpies are going to need our own table.

    I too have a 17 year old. Fun aren't they! lol. 

    Crashing @on42's wedding sounds like great fun! Reserve a Bumbie table!!!

    @KirstenAlecia having a 17 year old is freaking me out now with all the college stuff. I can't believe she is leaving me in 6 months. It makes me sad.

    @hooligans4 does she have any idea on where she wants to go? The girl I've watched since she was 6 weeks has one more yr of school. She has no clue!!

    She is visiting Vanderbilt in March and few other schools down south. She visited BU and Georgetown (her brother goes there).

    I'm not her mom but I shed some tears when her brother left. I'm sure I will shed tears for her too :(

    Oh just re-read your post. She IS leaving soon! Was thinking she had one more year!! Oh my :(

    @BeckyP005 yes she is a senior so she leaves the end if August. She mostly applied to schools in New York so she won't be too far. She is a fenominal artist and most of the schools she applied to are in Manhattan. But unfortunately we probably won't be able to afford any of the private schools. She got accepted to SUNY Plattsburgh which is 7 1/2 hour drive.

    Whatever she chooses I will be ok with. I want her to be a strong independent woman and this will help her get there.

    Oh my gosh hottiegans! My daughter is an artist too! I love my daughters drawings and paintings. I tried to get her into photography thinking that since she was the creative the we could have that in common but she wasn't having it :(

    I think she doesn't want to because i do photography. lol. She tends to take the opposite on all things with me. opinions, music, everything except clothes. She likes when i shop for her. :)

    @KirstenAlecia my daughter took photography one semester in school and liked it but couldn't do that and art. Just not enough time in her schedule. Are won because if she doesn't paint she is miserable.

    Lol my daughter and I are very similar in everything except clothes.
