Small meltdown

After leaving the dog situation I met MH and his friend and another couple at a bar to watch Pens game.

They ststtrd talkinv about kids. His good friend says how he cried when his daughter was born. Cue the tears and I went to bathroom. Started hyperventilating. Haven't done that in a long time.

Non point in this. Just couldnt stop crying. Another girl I know is pg with third. Can't afford two they have. I'm drunk and this all sucks

Ugh the feeling we have when someone is pg & didn't want/plan the pregnancy. They take it for granted. Us on the other hand are doing pretty much everything "right" and still end up with BFN. The world we live in is so F'ed up for good people. I hate that people keep asking me "when r u gonna have another baby"? If It was so simple I would have had a baby two years ago. Don't mean to sound selfish but SIF sucks. Hopefully ur fur baby comes back home , so u have one less thing to stress about. Feel better & hang in there

Omg I'm reading this now and I shouldn't be allowed on here when drinking!

Oh well...it just blindsided me when he started talking about how wonderful that birth moment was. I love this couple but guess with alcohol and with being sad about dog situation I lost it.

I guess I shouldn't feel embarrassed since we all go through these feelings!

Hugs to you Becky. For me a drunken melt down is the best thing. It actually lets you get out all the emotions you keep bottled up. We need that every once in a while.

I had that kinda day yesterday too @beckyP005! We were with one of my grown steps sons apartment. He's just moved in with his girlfriend and her parents were there. The conversation turned into a discussion of them having kids. It was pure torture to listen to. It went on an on for and eternity. I held it together but couldn't say a word during the convo. I'll die if the next generation has kids before me!

After that, the second stepson who's getting married in May had a huge FB conversation about the names they want to name their kids when they have them.

Please just make them all STFU!

Awww @BeckyP005 i am so sorry!!! It can hit at the worst of times! My husbands nephew knocked a girl up, just saw her picture on FB with her big ole belly....I can't tell you how I seethe with jealousy. It doesn't help that I am not that fond of this nephew either.

Also a cousin is pregnant with her 2nd, and I tightly congratulated grandma, grandma, "said this has been so hard on her she did have a mc at 8 weeks last time" (please ladies do not think I am belittling the difficulty of going through that) but I couldn't help myself I blurted out to her that DH and I have been trying for almost 3 years without success!!

So Becky we all have our moments

Ugh... that happened to me too a couple years ago - my own nephew. My mom became a great grandma before I even had a grandbaby.

Made me sad but also took some of the pressure off

I think everyone is entitled to a moment or two

@Privateone I totally get it. We aren't telling anyone either. As far as everyone is concerned we are not having any. I don't want to have the discussions that come with people knowing….

That's exactly how we feel err felt. We unfortunately had to tell our immediate families when I had my loss back in Oct because we were supposed to travel to a family wedding in the Caribbean and had to cancel. Our only option was to tell them what was going on, however that did not include the step sons. I kinda regret telling my father, sister, MIL, FIL, SIL and still wish no one knew. At the time though we couldn't think of a way around it. They thought my pregnancy was ecptopic and flying away to another country would not have been very wise. In hindsight I could have gone because my m/c occured well after the trip and was pretty "normal." Now that those few people know, they dance around on egg shells around us because they know we don't want to discuss our plans any further with them, but it seems like they think they have a right to know all our next steps.

Ugh….thats no fun. Nobody but you and your H need to know. My H told one of his step sisters and I was mad. I have a feeling he may have told his mom too…..but I'm not sure. I especially don't want family to know we are TTC……i don't know why. You would think they would be mrs privy to the info vs. say….my best friend. Honestly though, my best friend never says or does the wrong thing. She doesn't even bring it up unless I do. The only thing I know for sure is she really wants me to have a LO. But she doesn't ask for info….she is very keen and knows what is sensitive. Family isn't always like that.
