So, our 4th IUI was a bust! I normally don't test but with our vacation coming up, I didn't want any surprises while we were there and it would end up throwing off our whole trip. I thought for sure this time it took! Boy, do I hate being wrong! So tonight shall call for a adult beverage preferably a margarita and maybe a trip to Menchies! (DH driving, of course) I do believe that was our last IUI. We go back March 11 to talk about IVF. I feel like I'm rushing it but with having to pay everything OOP I just don't see the need to keep doing IUI's if they aren't working. I need to put our money towards something that has a higher chance of working. Maybe, I'm impatient but I just want to see a BFP!
: ( i'm sorry. this is a lot like my post yesterday! today is CD1 for me after a failed IUI #3, so I know how you're feeling. I also thought this month worked, so it sucks to have your hopes up all month just to be crushed. Hopefully your vacation will give you some fun distractions from IF! I feel for ya sister! Good luck on your next cycle : )
TTC #1 since Sept. 2012
June 2013: Start IF testing
Me: Bloodwork and ultrasound all normal. Normal cycles and ovulation
Me: HSG Sept. 2013 All clear
DH: High viscosity, lowish numbers, but not horrible. First SA, count was 40 mill, second SA, count jumped to 80 mill. low morph. Tried mucinex for viscosity issue from June- Nov.

I think you are making a good choice by switching to IVF. You know your body better than doctors and if you suspect something that hasnt worked will not work in the future you instincts are probably right. A vacation sounds like a great idea! I hope you have a break from stress and conceive naturally in the meantime. I have only had one failed IUI but I am stepping back to rethink things.. I believe with how poor my husbands SA's were that they are a waste of time and money until he can either raise his counts/mot/morph.. or else ivf seems the more obvious choice
Husband: MFI Counts 1-11mil, Mot 32%-50% Morph 2-4%
Me: slightly underactive thyroid
Married March 2013 TTC since wedding..
